On the silk road

We will meet at Tashkent airport, from which you will be transfered to hotel. Accommodation in the booked rooms.

The morning is dedicated to a city tour of the capital of Uzbekistan, rich in parks and fountains. You will visit the complex Khast Imam with Barakhan Madrasah, Tilla Sheikh mosque and the mausoleum of Kafala Shashi (16^th century). Then, you will walk through the market Tchorsu in the old town.

After lunch in a restaurant, the itinerary continues visiting the dynamic capital of Uzbekistan, where it is possible to admire the Museum of Decorative Arts, Opera and Ballet Theatre Square - named after the poet of the 15^th century Alisher Navoi, Independence Square, Amir Timur square, monument of Courage, monument to victims of the earthquake of 1966, the beautiful Metro of Tashkent.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Then, transfer to airport for take your flight to Urgench at 7:00 (1:20 hours of flight). Upon arrival, transfer to Khiva (35km). Accommodation at the hotel.

The whole day is dedicated to an excursion in this city, which can be considered an open air museum rich in heritage. You will discover the old Silk Road: the fortress Ata Darvaza, Kalta Minor, the madrasa Aminkhan Mohamed, palace Kunya Ark.

After lunch in a restaurant, the tour continues visiting the madrasa of Mohamed Rahimkhan, Friday Mosque, Mausoleum of Said Alouddin, mausoleum of Pahlavan Makhmud, the minaret Islamkhodja, Tochhovli, the Palace and Harem of Khan, madrasa Ollokoulikhon.

After breakfast, departure to Bukhara.

You will pass through the desert of Kizil Kum (Red Sand). The characteristical beauty of the Central Asian desert reminds the time of the courageous caravan crossing this sea of sand.

Lunch in a caravanserai. The arrival in Bukhara is scheduled in the late afternoon.

Upon arrival, accommodation at the hotel. Then, it is possible to enjoy free time to walk through streets of ancient Bukhara.

The whole day is dedicated to the city tour of Bukhara. It is one of the more ancient cities of Central Asia, and a spiritual and commercial center whose importance does has not declined over the centuries.

You will visit the central part of the city, called Chakhristan. Its main sights are: the complex of Poi-Kalon, the Ark citadel and mosque Bolo Khauz. Then, walking through park Samanid, you can reach the mausoleum of Ismail Samani and the mausoleum Chashma Ayub.

Lunch at the tea-house Labi House.

Afterwards, the tour continues visiting the madrasah Abdulazizkhan and Oulougbeg, the domes market to finally visit the mosque Magokki Attori and Khauz Labi complex.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today you will complete your tour of Bukhara. Visit to the summer residence of the emirs, Sitora Mokhi Khossa and the mausoleum of Bakhaouddin Nakhchbandi. Then, you will move for some miles, to discover the Necropolis of Chor-Bakr in the village of Soumitan.

At the end of the visit, return to Bukhara, where you can enjoy your lunch at the restaurant.

Free time during the afternoon, to discover the city on your own or go shopping.

After breakfast, you will be transfered to Shahrisabz, which is considered to be the birthplace of Timur.

Upon arrival, accommodation at the hotel and lunch.

In the afternoon you will visit the city. In particular, you will explore the ruins of the White Palace - Ak Saray (14^th century), mosque Khazrati Imam (Holy Imam), Dorus Saodat (The House of Power), complex Dorut Tyllawat (The House of Reflection), which consists of two shrines: mausoleum Sheikh Chamseddine Kulal (14^th century) and mausoleum Gumbazi Saidon (15^th century) and mosque Kouk Gumbaz (15^th century).

In the morning transfer to Samarkand.

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

Today you will explore this important city, capital of the Timurids. Visit the mausoleum Gur Emir and the necropolis Shakhi Zinda.

After lunch in a local restaurant, visit the Observatory of Ulugbeg, mausoleum Saint Daniel and the Archaeological Museum Afrosiab.

Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

The morning is dedicated to the visit of Samarkand.

You will discover the famous Registan square including the madrasahs Ulugbek, Tilla Kori and Cherdor, mosque Bibi Khanym and the market place.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you can enjoy free time to discover the city on your own or go shopping.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, transfer to Tashkent. Upon arrival, accommodation at the hotel and lunch at restaurant.
