A tour dedicated to the discovery of the Uzbekistan's treasures. Uzbekistan is a beautiful country located in Central Asia, boasting an important and fascinating historical and architectonical heritage.

Inside its characteristic cities, you can admire wonderful big mosques, with meticulously-finished walls, details with hidden meanings, and large colourful domes. You can also admire several madrasah, buildings in which the young can learn. Uzbekistan is also rich in archaeological sites, during the tour you will visit some important excavations, which reveal relevant evidences, as happened in the ancient city of Afrosiab.

Do not miss the chance to discover the colourful bazaar, a caothic but attractive place, where it is possible to find handicraft products, rare spices and local goods. Finally, you will be delighted by traditional specialities, cooked sometimes by Uzbek families.

    Arrival in Tashkent
    Day 1

    Meeting at Tashkent airport and transfer to the hotel.

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Urgench.

    Upon arrival in Urgench, you will move for 35 km to reach Khiva. Check-in at the hotel.

    Afterwards, you will enjoy a city tour during which you will discover Ichan-Kala architectural complex (12 - 19th c.), the Residence of the last Khan including Ismail Khodja Mausoleum, Mohammed Amin Khan madrassah, Kunya-Ark Castle (16 - 17th c.), Kalta Minor tower, Tash-Hovli Palace (19th c.), Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum (14 - 18th c.), Juma Mosque (10th c.).

    Dinner and overnight in Khiva.

    Day 3

    Breakfast in hotel.

    Then, you will enjoy a coach trip to Bukhara via Kizil-Kum desert along Caravan road, (480 km, 6 - 7 hrs).

    Breakfast in hotel.

    The day is dedicated to a full-day city tour, you will discover the most beautiful and important sights of the city. Starting from the ancient Citadel Ark, which dates back to the 4th century b.C, you will then admire the Mosque Bolo-Khauz, built at the beginning of 20th century, Mausoleum of Samanids (9 - 10th c.), Chashma Ayub (14th c.), and even the beautiful complex Poi Kalon, which consist of Minaret Kalyan (12th c.), Kalyan mosque (12th c.), Miri Arab madrassah (16th c.), 3rd Trade Dome (16th c.), Ulughbek's Madrassah (15th c.), 2nd Trade Dome (16th c.), Magoki Attari mosque (14th c.), 1st Trade Dome (16th c.) and Lyabi Khovuz ensemble (14 - 17th c.), which consists of a pool, Honako of Nodir Divan Begi, Kukeldash madrassah, Nodir Divan Begi madrassah.

    Breakfast in hotel.

    Today you will continue the amazing discovering of Bukhara. Walking through the old streets, you will admire Chor Minor (18th c.). And then, continue outside the city, with the visit to the Emir's Summer Residence Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa (19th c.), memorial necropoles Chor Bakr (10th c.), the Bahouddin Nakshbandi mausoleum (16 - 19th c.), the sepulchers of his mother and his preceptor (14th c.).

    After lunch, some other visits follow, as the visit to Zirobod, an ancient Persian settlement. According to some legends, the settlement is 2500 years old. Anyway, historical sources claim the settlement was established in the 4th century BC by ancient Persian tribes. Visit to an Ethnographic museum and ancient mosque.

    Day 6

    After breakfast, transfer  to Shakhrisabz by coach (295 km, 5 hrs).

    Upon arrival, accommodation in the hotel.

    Then, you will start the city tour of this interesting and historical city. During the visit you will admire the ruins of Ak-Saray Palace (14 - 15th c.), Khazrati Imam Complex, Dor-ut Tillavat (15 - 16th c.), Gumbazi-Seiidan Makbarat of Ulughbek, Kok Gumbaz mosque (15th c.), Jahongir mausoleum. The last step of today's itinerary is the factory of art items "Khudjun".

    Dinner in traditional Uzbek house and overnight in Shakhrisabz.

    Shakhrisabz - Samarkand
    Day 7

    In the morning the tour continues to Samarkand by the mountain pass. On the way stop in the village Hazrati Bashir, famous for its holy spring and orchards. Walk into the background of the mountains and reach Zarafshan to enjoy a cup of tea with the locals.

    Upon arrival in Samarkand, check in at your hotel.

    After lunch in town, you will visit the glorious capital of the State of Timurids. Visit to: Registan Square, excavations and museum of the ancient city of Afrosiab, Architectural complex Shakhi-Zindeh (11 - 15th c.), Ulughbek Observatory.

    After breakfast at the hotel, your city tour will start.

    You will admire the Registan square: Medreseh Ulughbek (15th c.), Medreseh Shir-Dor (17th c.), Medreseh Tilla-Kori (17th c.), Mausoleum Guri Emir, the Tamerlane's Tomb (14 - 15th c.), Bibi-Khonum Mosque and finally market place.

    Lunch in a traditional Uzbek house. Then, visit to natural silk processing workshop "Aiesha".

    Dinner. Overnight in Samarkand.

    Day 9

    Breakfast in hotel, you will go back to Tashkent (320 km, 4 hrs).

    Upon arrival, accommodation in the hotel and lunch in the city.

    Then, you will enjoy an interesting city tour around Tashkent, the itinerary proposes you the visit to the Independence Square, Navoi Theater square, Barak-Khan Madrasah, The Kaffal-Shashi mausoleum (15th c.), Kukeldash Madrasah (16th c.), the Djuma mosque (9th c.). Visit of Opera and Ballet Theater named after Alisher Navoi.

    Dinner. Overnight in Tashkent.

    Tashkent - Fergana
    Day 10

    Breakfast at the hotel in the early morning, then flight to Fergana.

    Upon arrival, accommodation in the hotel.

    TheN, the tour continues with a panoramic view of Fergana Valley. You will visit Margilan city Yodgorlik silk factory.

    After lunch in Marguilan city, return to Fergana.

    If you wish you can visit the city centre of Fergana. There is a big lush park, Al Fergani, in the city centre. The first architectural constructions of the city: the House of the governor, Military meeting (the House of officers), a man's gymnasium (school). Wide roads of Fergana are scattered with many old military fortresses, reminding the St.-Petersburg design. Parks, fountains, Russian architecture and industrial zones strengthen similarity and contrast with the Uzbek Margilan.

    Fergana - Kokand
    Day 11

    Today you will reach Oltiarik (35km), where it is possible to visit villages and a very interesting countryside rich in agricultural tradition with extensive gardens of fruits, vegetables and grapes on the road. The cotton harvest will offer you a good opportunity to take picturesque pictures of people working in a field.

    At the end, transfer to Richtan which is famous for its traditions of ceramics. Here it is possible to admire some ceramics' studios.

    Lunch en route.

    The tour continues to Kokand, where it is possible to visit the famous Khan Khoudayar Palace (closed on Mondays). The construction of this palace took eight years (1863-1871). After visiting the palace of Khan Khoudayar visit the Juma Mosque, which was one of the largest Royal Kokad mosques and includes 10,000 believers at a time, and Dakhmai Jahon - "Tombs of Governors."

    Drive to Charvaq-Chimgan the mountain pass at 2050m Kamchik. Charvaq is a large reservoir dam used for irrigation and hydroelectricity. 

    There is the possibility to hike the Chimgan mountain. Picnic lunch in the mountains.

    At the end, back to Tashkent.
