Welcome to Japan! Arrival in Tokyo, the capital city of the Land of the Rising Sun. Enjoy some rest at the hotel before starting your adventure.

Visit Nikko, Unesco World Heritage Site, situated in a mountainous area. The town is a popular tourist destination thanks to its many cultural monuments, such as Nikko Temple, and for its natural beauties, including Nikko National Park with its marvellous waterfalls and the hot thermal springs ("onsen") of the surroundings.

Discover majestic Mt. Fuji, the volcano which is symbol of Japan and the highest mountain of the country. Visit Hakone, a small town offering incredible views of Mt. Fuji. The town is an important tourist destination, due to its onsen and Fuji- Hakone- Izu National Park.

Today it's on to Matsumoto and its marvellous castle, situated in Nagano district. Later on move on to Takayama, famous for carpentry and its picturesque ancient wooden houses and temples.

Today you'll remain speechless in front of the little wooden houses of Shirakawago, a small mountain village in Gifu district, crossed by a river and surrounded by ricefields. It is famous for its traditional gassho- zukuri houses, a feature that has made Unesco list the village among its World Heritage Sites.

Then it's on to Kanazawa, a beautiful town in Ishikawa district, known for Hakusan National Park, Kenrokuen gardens and its railway station.

After more sightseeings in Kanazawa, move on to Kyoto, the "city of the thousand temples" and former capital city of Japan. Gion district in Kyoto is famous all over the world for being the geisha district.

Today it's on to Nara, a small town and Unesco Heritage Site situated on Honshu Island. Continue to Mt. Koya, probably Japan's most sacred place and one of the main monastic centers in the country.

Transfer to Osaka, marvellous city of the Land of the Rising Sun, mainly famous for its beautiful castle. Then move on to Hiroshima, sadly famous for the bombings of World War II. Visit the remains of those tragic days and explore the city.

Visit Miyajima, marvellous island situated in Hiroshima Bay, famous for enchanting Itsukushima shrine. Spend some time exploring this unique place then travel back to Osaka.
