Umbria tour in the heart of Italy - Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto

Arrival in Perugia and guided tour of the old city center, including Piazza Italia, Vannucci street, Priori Palace, Fontana Maggiore. Short stop at Perugina Chocolate House for a guided tour of the factory where some of the most renowned Italian chocolate is produced.

Then visit to the Museum of Chocolate (entry ticket included) and, at the end, tasting of this delicacy. In the evening transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast transfer to Assisi and visit of the town, known all over the world as the hometown of St. Francis and St. Chiara. Tour of the main sightseeings where Giotto, Martini and Cimabue left some of their major masterpieces. The tour continues visiting S. Damiano Church and Santa Maria degli Angeli where the group will stop to admire the "Porziuncola".

Lunch in a restaurant and in the afternoon transfer to the "Eremo delle Carceri", a place of silence and meditation, where St. Francis spent several days. In the evening retun to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and departure to Torgiano, a Medieval village where you'll visit the Museum of Wine and Oil (entry ticket included). Lunch in a typical restaurant and afternoon transfer to Deruta, with a guided tour of the town center and Ceramics Museum (optional).

Departure for Todi, dinner at leisure and overnight in a hotel.

After breakfast travel to Orvieto, home to an impressive Romanic cathedral, maybe the best in the whole country. Lunch with typical menu and afternoon dedicated to sightseeing in "Underground Orvieto", a guided tour around the "hidden city". Transfer back to Todi, dinner at leisure and overnight.

After breakfast guided tour of Todi city center. Todi is a marvellous city related to Etruscan period, with majestic Medieval walls surrounding a spectacular old town. Lunch at leisure in a restaurant and transfer to Terni for a guided tour around Marmor Falls (entry ticket included).

Later on, transfer to Spoleto for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and guided tour of Spoleto, famous all over the world as the location of the important "Festival dei 2Mondi", hosting thousands of people and artists around its Medieval streets and squares every year.

Lunch at leisure, in the afternoon visit a typical oil mill showroom, where you can also buy some local products. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

After breakfast end of service and trip back home.
