    Day 1

    Arrival at Fiumicino airport. The English speaking assistant will be waiting for the clients with a nominal sign in the customs area. Transfer with private vehicle to the 4-star BB hotel (1 double standard room for 2 adults per room).

    In the afternoon, meeting in the hotel lobby with the guide to start the tour. The excursion proposed is a half day Classic Rome tour including private transportation, English speaking local guide and vox headsets.

    This walking tour has been designed to cover some of the most interesting sites of Rome, such as the Trevi Fountain, designed in 1762 by Nicola Salvi. You'll then move on through the alleys to the Pantheon, one of the greatest and best preserved monuments of ancient Rome. Your walk continues to Piazza Colonna where you'll admire the marble column built by the Roman Senate in memory of the Emperor Marco Aurelio.

    Then proceed to the Spanish Steps, the hour glass-shaped square that is one of the most popular spots in the city. At the end of the tour you will have free time for shopping in the famous streets surrounding Piazza di Spagna.

    After the tour, return to hotel and overnight in Rome.

    Day 2

    Full day tour with a private English speaking guide dedicated only to you. Meeting in the hotel lobby with the guide to start the tour. Today you'll visit the sites where the Italian partisans fought to prepare the entry of the alliance troops in Rome. You will visit the SS headquarters in via Tasso with the museum and the prison where many people who were considered enemy of the Germans were tortured and killed by the SS troops.

    You'll see Via Rasella where on March 23, 1944 the Italian partisans killed 32 soldiers of the SS corps and after that, General Kappler ordered the execution of 320 Italian citizens in the Fosse Ardeatine site where on March 24, 1944 a SS firing squad obeyed to the order. 10 citizens for each SS soldier killed in the attack of via Rasella were executed.

    Day 3

    Full day tour with a private English speaking tour guide dedicated only to you. Meeting point in the lobby, departure for Anzio. You'll visit the landing sites including Peter beach, where the English troops landed in 1944. Here you can admire the “fox holes” where the English soldiers found protection during the landing, the Museum of Anzio displaying the original documentary of the disembarkation filmed on January 22 nd 1944, the towns of Anzio and Nettuno, the American monumental cemetery and the English cemetery

    The tour will end with the visit of the caves where the alliance troops held the head office to coordinate the operations after the disembarkation. Weather and sea conditions permitting, you will go on a private boat cruise in front of the beach where the Americans troops landed and admire the wreck of a landing craft sunk on January 22nd ,1944.

    Full day tour with a private English speaking guide dedicated only to you. Meeting point at the lobby and visit of Montecassino Area, the headquarter of the first Germans paratrooper division, one of the most important sites of the Gustav Line

    The Battle of Monte Cassino (also known as the Battle for Rome and the Battle for Cassino) was made up of a series of four battles during World War II, fought by the Allies with the intention of seizing Rome. The abbey of Montecassino was located on the peak of the mountain, so it was impossible for the alliance troops to reach the site without completely destroying the abbey by bombing it.
