You'll also have the chance to admire a Water Puppet Show, a show in which wooden actors play on a water set.
Transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay to visit the namesake bay and its wonders and natural beauties. The following afternoon you'll go back to Hanoi to visit the Ambassador's Pagoda, the Muzu Pagoda and to enjoy shopping.

Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Half day is devoted to the visit of the most classical sights of the "cultural" capital city of Vietnam.
Passing the imposing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, we'll go inside the park of the Presidential Palace; nearby it is possible to admire One Pillar Pagoda built in 1049 and Dien Huu Pagoda, located to the opposite site. Van Mieu, the Confucian Temple of Literature, was the oldest Asian University, it dates back to 1070. In the heart of the city, it is possible to observe the Lake of the Restored Sword and Jade Mountain Temple on its islet.
The day ends with the Water Puppet Show: an unique show, in which actors are wooden puppets that tell old traditional stories, daily-life facts and popular legends.

Transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay.
After a stop in an exposition of locally produced silk, pottery and stone sculptures, the tour continues to Halong Bay, considered the world's 8th wonder by many. We'll get on board a traditional and restored wooden junk to discover the bay and sail among its islands, islets, cliffs and rocks. Here stalagmites and stalactites design extraordinary sceneries.
Lunch and dinner on board.
Breakfast. Morning visit to the endless attractions of Halong Bay.
Back to the pier. Brunch on board. Transfer to the airport of Hanoi.
Today we'll visit traditional worship places, such as Chua Wuan Su, also called Ambassador's Pagoda, and Chua Ba Da (Muzu Pagoda), located within walking distance of Saint Joseph's Cathedral.
There is also the chance to enjoy shopping in shops and boutiques of residential districts.
Breakfast and free time at leisure until transfer to the airport: end of services.
