    Day 1

    Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

    Half day dedicated to the visit to the most popular attractions of the capital of "cultural" Vietnam. Passing the imposing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum you enter tha park of the former Residence of the General Governor of Indochina and here the house where the President lived is also located. Not far lies beautiful One -Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049 and opposite is Dien Huu Pagoda.

    Van Mieu, the Confucian Temple of Literature, was the most ancient university in Asia dating back to 1070. In the heart of the city lies  the Lake of the Restored Sword with the islet of the Temple of the Jade Mountain.

    The day ends with a 1-hour Water Puppet Show, a unique performance where actors are wooden puppets which revive ancient traditional stories, everyday life scenes and events from popular legends on the water.

    Day 2

    Transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay.

    After a stop in an exposition center dedicated to the local production of silk, ceramics and stone sculptures, you continue on to Halong Bay, called the Eighth Wonder of the World by many, which you'll explore on a traditional wooden junk, accurately renovated, winding its way through countless islands, islets, stacks and cliffs which host caves where stalagmites and stalactites design amazing sceneries.

    Halong Bay - Hanoi- Saigon
    Day 3

    The morning is still dedicated to the exploration of the endless attractions of Halong Bay.

    Return to the port and disembark. Brunch on board.

    Day 4

    Half-day visit to Cu Chi, the famous Vietcong underground citadel which was created wìith an incredible subterranean network of warehouses, dormitories, armories, kitchens, infirmaries and command posts connected by 250 km of tunnels and galleries who resisted, inviolate, to all bombing and the attacks made for years by the American troops. The bush reveals some structures made ​​accessible to the public and suggestive Vietcong mannequins mounting guard at strategic points.

    En route to Saigon a stop is due at the lush ricefields of a family business producing rice flour tortillas and at the precious gum tree plantations which were introduced by the French at the beginning of the past century.

    In the afternoon, half-day visit to the heart of Saigon, starting with the War Remnants Museum. After a due stop in the square where the colonial periods is revived by the Post Palace designed by Gustave Eiffel and the Neo-Gothic Notre Dame Cathedral, you will visit the highest Taoist worship site, Chua Ngoc Hoang, the Jade Emperor's pagoda, whose interior decorations, furniture, statues and symbols of the gods' authority are incredibly rich, just thinly veiled by the smoke clouds rising from candles and incense.

    You'll continue on enjoying some shopping in the lively commercial area spanning from Dong Khoi, the "Rue Cantinat" of the French colonists, to the square of great Ben Thanh market.

    Saigon - Can Tho
    Day 5

    The day is spent visiting Cai Be area in the Mekong delta.

    You'll reach a pier on the Mekong where small local boats await in order to penetrate the river branches, passing between crowded banks and sailing to the place where the small junks carrying fruits, vegetables and artisan products from all around the delta meet for an important market.

    Visit a cosy family business where puffed rice, sweets, palm sugar candies and rice buiscuits are produced manually with ancient techniques.

    In the afternoon transfer to Can Tho.

    Day 6

    In the morning visit Can Tho, the so called "capital of the Delta", which has been the trading capital of the immense and extremely fertile agricultural region sorrounding it for centuries and which lives thanks to the beneficial waters of the great river, which you'll sail on a motorboat winding your way through the two large floating markets in Cai Rang and Phong Dien.

    Return to Saigon and arrival in the early afternoon.
