The latters represent one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the whole world and have been declared Unesco World Heritage in 1986. Thanks to their strong water jets, high jumps and awesome rainbows, the waterfalls have became one of the main attractions for both countries.

This trip allows you to discover this suggestive and picturesque landscape, but also to admire the other jewels belonging to these Southern American countries.

  • The capital city of Argentina: Buenos Aires, a lively and colourful city, boasting characteristical examples of colonial architecture;
  • Rio de Janeiro, a Brazilian metropolis, where it is possibile to admire the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, located on the top of Corcovado.

    The day is dedicated to a tour in Benos Aires, the City of the Tango, and its main landmarks: Plaza de Mayo and nearby Casa Rosada (Parliament House), the City Hall, and the Cathedral. Stroll down the charming and colorful streets of the districts of San Telmo and La Boca and discover the most elegant neighbourhoods: La Recoleta and Palermo.

    In the evening it is possible to take part in an optional night tour, including dinner and tango show at La Ventana.

    Breakfast at the hotel.

    Today, you will have a free day to go shopping or to do some more sightseeing in the city.

    An optional full day excursion is also available to visit a typical ranch in Argentina prairies and taste its famous turnovers and barbecue, specially prepared by the locals. There is also the chance to enjoy wine picks, a traditional live Gaucho (cowboy) show and horse race known as the “carrera de sortijas” (ring race), as well as horseback rides.

    After breakfast, transfer to the Airport in Buenos Aires, and then fly to the IGR Airport.

    On the way to the hotel at the Brazilian side, you will visit the Argentinian side of the Falls.

    These waterfalls are one of the most impressive spectacles of nature, it is reasonable to call them a natural wonder: from that part of the waterfall, you will be enraptured by a gigantic cascade of water that drops straight down nearly 80 meters decorated by rainbows. It is possible to enjoy amazing view of the falls endings, called Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat), thanks to an observation deck.

    Today, you will enjoy a half day excursion to visit Brazil’s Iguassu National Park, the largest of its kind in the country’s South Region, where the Iguassu River flows into a gigantic horseshoe-shaped canyon. You will be enraptured by the charm of this natural environment.

    After breakfast, transfer from the hotel to the Airport and fly to Rio de Janeiro.

    The day is dedicated to an excursion to the Corcovado, the hill where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is located. You will reach the top by cogwheel train from the peak, you will have an amazing view of the city. 

    Afterwards, you will come back down to the city to the ocean front streets of Copacabana and Ipanema, and move to the district of Urca, specifically to Praia Vermelha, where another cable car waits for you. This time, the ride will take you up to the Sugarloaf Mountain. After visiting this famous touristic attraction, you will have a brief historical city tour in downtown Rio.
