Tour in Uganda - Safari in Murchison Falls National Park

Early breakfast. At 8 am you'll move northwards to Murchison Falls National Park via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have the chance to trek the Rhinos and discover the Uganda's Rhino reintroduction project developed by this sanctuary. Here there are 15 white rhinos and tracking is done on foot and takes about 1 and half hours. After lunch at Masindi Town you'll reach Murchison Falls National Park.

In the early morning you'll set off for a game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. Your guide will help you spot elephants, lions, cape buffalos, Rothchild's giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribsi, bushbucks, bohor reed bucks, hyenas and if you are lucky, the leopard. After lunch, you 'll go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Here you will see the River Nile crush through a narrow gorge and forming the magnificent Murchison falls. While on the cruise you will see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs among others. This area is also home to many birds species like the goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Overnight at your lodge.

Today you'll enjoy another game drive upstream to admire the wildlife you could have missed on the previous day. You've only to relax and enjoy the wonderful views of the Nile and of its wildlife. The afternoon is dedicated to a boat cruise trip to the delta and to observe the river Nile as it enters into lake Albert as it continues its 6,000 km journey into the into the Mediterranean Sea. Then, you'll move to the top of the falls, where an awesome and unforgettable experience is provided. Enjoy the landscapes from the top of the stunning Murchison falls where the wonder and the power of nature will amaze you. The ground literally rumbles due to the strength of the waterfalls and the sound is deafening as you watch the falls from above forming sheets of foam making the scene simply awesome. Night game before sleeping.

Breakfast at the lodge. At 9 am you'll cross the river by ferry and drive to the top of the falls to enjoy another memorable experience. Enjoy again the top of the marvellous Murchison falls, natural wonders. Then, after having enjoyed the views and the landscapes for one hours, you'll go head for Kampala. You will carry a packed lunch from the lodge to have on the way. Arrive in Kampala late afternoon and continue to the airport: end of services.
