A unique journey thruogh history, art and culture of real Spain. The itinerary includes the following highlights:
Meeting at Madrid international airport and transfer to the hotel.
Guided tour of the city, to discover the many diverse facets of the capital of Spain, breathing in atmosphere of the Baroque period and the hectic central squares, such as Plaza Mayor where you can try the famous tapas.
We will also visit the Royal Palace of the Prado to see the masterpieces of Goya and Velázquez, and end the day with a thrilling flamenco show during dinner.
For days 2 and 3 you can choose from a range of optional excursions.
Toledo: The stone houses and churches of Toledo remind us the city was built at the crossroads of the Christian, Islamic and Jewish faiths. The unique art of El Greco is also fundamental for the history of the city.
Ávila / Segovia: Ávila- The imposing and well-preserved walls of this fortified city will leave you speechless. Segovia - Its famous aqueduct, the Alcázar, and roast suckling pig make Segovia an attractive destination for visitors.
Escorial and Valle de los Caídos: Two incredible sites on the outskirts of Madrid. The Monastery built by Philip II, the ultimate expression of the Renaissance in Spain, and Valle de los Caídos, the monument to the Civil War dead and the tomb of the dictator Francisco Franco. A visit full of history.
After breakfast we will reach the magical and historic Atocha Station to take the AVE (highspeed train) to the South. Arrival in Seville and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, sightseeing tour of the city of flamenco and bullfighters. Seville is a charming city, with river Guadalquivir crossing it from north to south. We will explore its quaint neighbourhoods, full of courtyards and squares with orange trees.
We will enter the enormous Gothic cathedral, containing tomb of Christopher Columbus, we'll then visit the Giralda and the gardens of the central district.
Today it's on to Córdoba, a typical Andalusian city with its medieval tangle of streets, iconic buildings and picturesque courtyards.
The ancient mosque of Córdoba, now a cathedral, is one of the most impressive buildings in the entire country, providing one of the most breathtaking moments in this unforgettable trip.
At the end of the day, train back to Seville.
After breakfast, we will reach the station to catch the train to Málaga.
From Roman remains to the unmissable Picasso Museum, the city walls and fortifications and the enchanting Gibralfaro Palace, this visit never fails to surprise and delight.
After breakfast it's on to Granada.
Visit to the Alhambra, the best preserved Islamic palace in Europe: its ceilings, the whispering of its fountains and the floral perfume of its gardens raise sensations that you will remember forever.
We will also visit the Albaicín district, a picturesque maze of streets covering the side of the valley with whitewashed houses.
Breakfast and then free time in the centre of Málaga to go shopping. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport: the tour is over.
