Discover Cambodia, Asia, with this unique tailormade trip and tour designed for families! Bring your kids on vacation with you and discover the beauty of this country together, getting a unique chance to meet local people and experience their daily life: surely an adventure they will never forget!

Adapted for all ages (as young as six years old), this tailormade tour and journey allows you to discover Cambodia by meeting the locals and sleeping in their homes in the floating villages of the Great Lake or in the countryside. You will have fun exploring the jewels of Cambodia, such as the temple of Angkor Wat, hiking or riding and setting off for a treasure hunt in the maze of an abandoned temple.
 
This trip is an initiation to adventure including scores of activities for kids (kayaking, hot air balloon, Phare Circus, waterfall, swimming, trishaw rides, and snorkelling). Rest and relax by the sea and on an island at the end of the sojourn, feet deep in the white sand, your eyes filled with unforgettable images.

    Day 1

    Arrival in Siem Reap and accommodation in a hotel.

    Siem Reap - Angkor
    Day 2

    Riding towards the South Gate of Angkor Thom, discover the walls of this ancient city, still hidden in the forest. On an elephant back, arrive at the temple of four faces, the Bayon. Visit Angkor Thom, the Great Royal City. A short trip takes you to Preah Khan. Hike through the forest and along narrow paths and explore the small, remote temple of Ta Nei.

    At 4 p.m., your guide will suggest taking a snack break for the children in the middle of the park. Further on to Ta Keo, then end the day at Ta Prohm, the famous Koki tree temple. Today, hop on a hot air balloon offering vistas of the park from the sky (a tethered balloon, this trip is only available when weather permits). After relaxing in the pool and dining, make your way to the Phare Circus show. Hotel night in Siem Reap. (10-20 kilometres bike ride with support vehicle; baby seats are available).

    Roulos - Chao Srei Vibol
    Day 3

    Today visit Roulos, a Cambodian modern small town and an archaeological site about 13 km east from Siem Reap, and then move on to Chao Srei Vibol, the vastest temple complex in the Angkor plains that is situated outside the Archaeological Park.

    Tonight enjoy a homestay in a local family house.

    Day 4

    Today your tour proceeds visiting the archaeological areas of Beng Melea, Kbal Spean and Bantey Srei temple. Overnight in a hotel.

    Tonle Sap
    Day 5

    Early start to enjoy sunrise at Angkor Wat. Breakfast picnicking among the temples of the Archaeological Park, then head towards the lake to discover the locals’ daily lives in a picturesque landscape. Boat cruise on the lake. Children can also enjoy a well-deserved nap.  

    Each year the water level of the Lake Tonle Sap, also known as the Great Lake of Cambodia, varies from four to eight metres and floods the plains and forest of the region (August until January). Paddling wooden canoes, you can navigate through the inundated forest. In low water season, visit of the floating villages and move further upstream along the Sangkar River, bordering the Prek Toal bird sanctuary. You'll see more lakeside villages; marvel at their fishing techniques and visit privately owned crocodile farms.

    Take a break in one of the local homestays on the lake. The programme and visits of this day may be modified according to hydrological conditions. Homestay overnight.

    Day 8

    Travel to Kampot, a beautiful city overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Overnight in a bungalow.

    Day 9

    Travel to marvellous Sihanoukville, a lively seaside town overlooking the Gulf of Siam. Relax and overnight in a hotel.

    Sihanoukville - Bamboo Island
    Day 10

    At sunrise, a local boat will take you for a boat trip in the Gulf of Siam. Get your mask and snorkel out to explore the seabed. Stroll, swim and barbecue on deserted beaches. Back to your bungalow by sunset. Night in a bungalow. Depending on the sea conditions, the programme is subject to modifications and may be replaced by a different trip.
