Beach holidays in Sri Lanka

In the morning leave for Kandy visiting the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya en route. You'll also visit a Spice Garden and Batik Factory. City tour of Kandy in the afternoon, including visits to the Arts & Crafts Workshop, Botanical Gardens, Market Place, Temple of the Tooth and witness a cultural show. Overnight in Kandy.

Leave for Bentota driving via Colombo. In the afternoon time at leisure by the beach. Overnight in Bentota.

In the morning fishing excursion off Bentota or to Beruwela, an hour's drive from Colombo along the south coast. Beruwela that marks the beginning of the South Coast Beach Resorts.

It is considered to be the first Muslim settlement in the Island established by the Arab traders as far back as the 8^th century. There is a famous Muslim mosque at the beachhead close to which is a lighthouse, one of several erected along the Sri Lankan coast. Overnight in Bentota.

Fishing excursion off Galle or Hikkaduwa. Hikkaduwa is the place for underwater delights: there is a marine sanctuary abundant with rare corals and tropical fish. The underwater world of colourful corals and beautiful shoals of fish can be explored either by snorkeling or taking a ride in a glass bottom boat. Overnight in Bentota.
