Reception and transfer from Mexico City airport to the hotel, free time and accommodation.
On the second day breakfast and walking tour to the impressive zocalo in beautiful Mexico City, declared a World Heritage site by Unesco, and its connection between what was the Aztec empire and present day Mexico. Tour through the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace and the Palace of Beautiful Arts.
Later you will move to the Paseo de la Reforma where you will find the Angel of Independence, Diana Cazadora among others. You will also visit some emblematic districts of the city such as the Colonia Roma and the Condesa. Free time in the afternoon to enjoy the city.
After breakfast at 8 am, you will head to Queretaro, a beautiful colonial city. Sightseeing tour including Aqueduct, Mirador, Plaza de la Independencia (Government Palace and Casa Lopez de Escala), House and Plaza de la Corregidora, Theatre of the Republic, Casa de la Marquesa, Temples of Santa Clara and San Augustine, House of the Dogs. Later on enjoy some leisure.
Continue to the museum of San Miguel de Allende and sightseeing tour of its harmonious historic center. Free time to wander through its streets, squares, shops. Hotel accommodation.
American breakfast. Arrive at Dolores Hidalgo where you will learn about two great icons: Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla and José Alfredo Jiménez. Continue to Guanajuato, Cultural Heritage. Cultural visits: San Ramón Mine, Monument Pípil , Sky lift, Juárez Theater, Gardens of the Union Square, Marketplace, University, Callejón del Beso, Mercado Hidalgo, Alhóndiga de Granaditas. Afternoon walks, terraces, unexpected surprises. Hotel accommodation.
American breakfast. Departure to San Luis Potosi, the Porfirian Mexico city of excellence. Sightseeing tour: Plaza del Carmen (De La Paz Theater and Del Carmen Temple), Garden San Juan de Dios, Cathedral, City Hall, Plaza de Armas, Caja Real, Founders Plaza (Ipiña building, temple of Loreto, San Luis Potosi Institute...). Free time. Departure to Zacatecas. Free time. We suggest taking a coffee in the Cantina-Gallery of 15 letters. Hotel accommodation.
On the second day American breakfast and morning cultural visits: Aqueduct, Cerro de la Bufa, Cable Car, Eden Mine, Cathedral, Palacio de Gobierno, Templo de Santo Domingo, Fernando Calderón Theatre, Mercado Jesús González, Ex-convent of San Francisco. The afternoon allows you to choose between the following museums: Rafael Coronel (pre-Hispanic and Indigenous art), Pedro Coronel (Universal Art), Francisco Goitia (work of Zacatecas), Manuel Felguérez (Abstract Art), Guadalupe (Colonial Art). Departure to Tlaquepaque, a picturesque town of cobblestone streets, portals, galleries, hand crafts of various quality and style. Free time to enjoy this lovely town. The heart of the city is El Parian, a place suitable for relax.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to Guadalajara. This latter is Mexico's largest city and home of many Mexican traditions worldwide famous.
Departure to the State of Michoacan. Stop at Patzcuaro, a “magic town” of Mexico famous thanks to its colonial evidences and buildings. Worth visiting in Patzcuaro are: Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health, Temple and College of the Jesuits, the Tabernacle, the House of Eleven Patios, Madrigal de las Altas Torres boulevard and the typical squares of Vasco de Quiroga and Gertrudis Bocanegra. We suggest you stroll among the popular sights and the variety of hand-crafts.
Then, the tour proceeds to Morelia, rich in picturesque cafes and restaurant offering typical dishes from the region.
Sightseeing tour of Morelia, Cultural Heritage: Plaza de Armas, Government Palace, Garden and Conservatory of the Roses, Clavijero Palace, Mercado de Dulces, Aqueduct, Fountain of Tarascas, Romance Alley, Calzada. In the afternoon we will make your way back to Mexico City.
