This 8-day tour will take you through the imperial city of Cuzco with its enormous colonial heritage and Lima, ancient capital of the Viceroyalty. We'll enjoy Machu Picchu's magic in an unusual way. We'll make you see interesting places usually not visited by tourists, sorrounded by breathtaking landscapes, ranging from the coast, the Andes and the Amazon forest, without forgetting the native communties and villages.

    Day 1

    Arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport and transfer to the selected hotel.

    Lima: City tour and Archaeological Museum
    Day 2

    Breakfast.

    Sightseeing in the old town center and its enormous monuments and buildings, such as La Catedral, El Convento de San Francisco, Plaza Mayor and Plaza San Martín. We'll take you to the residential areas of San Isidro and Miraflores. You'll visit the Archaeological Museum where you'll get a glimpse of the different peruvian cultures preceding the Inca civilization.

    The rest of the afternoon is free.

    Lima- Cuzco: Walking tour of the city
    Day 3

    After breakfast, you'll set off to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the Andean village of Chinchero, where you'll go sightseeing around the archaelogical area, the colonial church, the main square with its handicraft market.

    We'll continue to the Maras salt mines, Moray's agricultural laboratories and Ollantaytambo with its fortress.

    Lunch. In the afternoon we'll travel by train towards Aguas Calientes.

    Arrival and accommodation in the hotel.

    The rest of the afternoon is free. Dinner and overnight.

    Aguas Calientes - Ollantaytambo
    Day 4

    Breakfast. We'll enjoy one of the most interesting natural sights in the world: the Incan city lit up by the first rays of sun. Guided tour of the archaeological complex with possibility of climbing Huayna Picchu mountain.

    Return to Aguas Calientes by bus.

    Lunch and free time to explore the town market and streets. You'll then travel to Ollantaytambo by train and be lodged in the hotel. (In case you wish to climb Huayna Picchu, you must request reservation upon booking, after paying the corresponding supplement).

    Breakfast.

    In the early morning you'll set off by bus to Machu Picchu where you'll admire the Incan ancient complex at dawn. Return to Aguas Calientes by bus.

    Lunch and free time.

    In the afternoon, you'll return to Ollantaytambo by train.

    Accommodation in an hotel in Valle Sagrado, which is believed to have the best climate in the world. Overnight in the selected hotel.

    Day 6

    Breakfast.

    In the morning, on the way back to Cuzco, you'll visit Pisac market. In the afternoon you'll visit Ruinas Aledañas.

    Return to Cuzco and overnight in the city.

    Day 7

    Breakfast.

    The day is free: you will have the chance to go sightseeing in this mighty colorful city, discovering its aromas and sounds: the perfect way to let yourself be immersed in the local culture. Cuzco offers a rich nightlife with its many restaurants, cafès, bars and pubs.

    Overnight.

    Breakfast.

    Transfer to the airport to catch the flight that will take you back to Lima. If the arrival happens on time, you'll be offered the chance to go on a shopping tour of the city (optional) through its many "indian markets".
