It will be a trip and holiday through history and culture of Israel's populations, during which you can discover local art and architecture, but also the most ancient traditions, such as the Kabbalah.
Arrival at Tel Aviv airport, meeting with English-speaking assistance and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with local guide and departure to visit Jaffa, a fascinating and ancient Egyptian and Canaanite city. It is recognized as the most ancient port of the Mediterranean Sea. This city is also mentioned in the Old Testament, as arrival port of Lebanese cedars, the material used to build Solomon Temple. Tour continues then to visit the Bnei Baruch Kabbalah Education Center.
At the end of the visit, in the early afternoon, we'll proceed to Caesarea, port city in Israel. This was founded by Herod the Great between 25 B.C. and 13 B.C. and is located on the Israeli coast between Tel Aviv and Haifa. Caesarea is also known with many other names, among which is Caesarea Maritima, and has the same name of other different Roman cities. Here, we'll discover the amphitheatre and the Roman aqueduct.
Afterwards, we'll go on to Akko, a Canaan and Phoenician port dating back to 4,000 years ago and used by both militaries and pilgrims. Then, we'll visit the complex of Saint John's Cavalier and the markets near the port.
Departure for Galilee, arrival in Tiberias in the evening. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. The day starts visiting Safed, a picturesque mountainous city where Jewish mysticism (Kabbalah) is largely spread. Visit the cave of Rave Shimon Bar Yochai, the authors of Holy Kabbalah (Zohar - Splendour Book); the Tomb of Rav Yitzchak Luria (l'Ari), a famous kabbalistic who lived in the middle of 1500; and the Synagogue of Rav Luria.
In Tiberias we'll visit the Tomb of Rabbi Akiva, one of the most important rabbi in Israel. For those who wish and weather permitting, it is possible to enjoy a purified swim (Mikveh).

After breakfast in the hotel, we'll start the visit of Tzipori (Sepphoris), the city chosen to be the Roman capital of Galilee. Here, Mishnah was written. This latter is the most ancient codification of the oral laws of the Jewish civilization. Then, we'll move to Beit Shean, fascinating city hosting a large amphitheatre, which received up to 8,000 people. The archaeological excavations realized on the area have restored 18 overlayed cities.
Arrival in Jerusalem in the evening, the Holy City, holy for Jewish, Christian and Musulman religions. Accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight.
The whole day is dedicated to the visit of the Old City of Jerusalem. In the morning, we'll ascend the Mount of Olives, from which it is possible to enjoy an amazing panorama of the city. Then, we'll descend to Gethsemane, where olives were silent testimonies of the Passion of Christ; to Rock of Agony, on which Jesus suffered; Nation Church; Capture Jerusalem Cave and to the oil mill. Then, entering from the Gate, we'll start the visit of the Old City on foot.
After the visit to the Wailing Wall, weather permitting, we'll ascend the Temple Mount, where it is possible to admire the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque. According to the history of Jerusalem's Temple, this sanctuary was indicated by God to Abraham (Mount Moriah) as the place where to sacrifice its son Isaac. Furthermore, it is also the starting place of Muhammad's celestial journey. Passing through the typical Arab bazaar, we'll stroll Via Dolorosa stopping at each Station till reaching the Holy Sepulchre.
At the end, we'll visit the chapels and the churches located in the holiest place of Christianity: the place in which Jesus was buried before ascending to the sky. We'll visit the location of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the Temple with the Holy Sepulchre. Then, we'll pass through the Jewish Quarter, where the Old City was located during Herod's time. Here it is possible to admire the ruins of the ancient Cardo Maximus which cuts Jerusalem. Visit to the Dormition Monastery on Mount Zion and back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
The morning is dedicated to a tour of the New City of Jerusalem, with the visit of the Museum Complex of Yad Vashem, the Holocaust History Museum dedicated to 6 million victims. Here it is possible to see evidences, videos and pictures of the Holocaust, but also documents about Nazi dictatorship, 12 years of persecutions and after-war events happened before Israel's foundation.
The tour continues visiting Israel Museum, the white dome in the garden hosts the Shrine of the Book, where Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in Qumran are preserved. Break to admire the bronze Menorah, a big seven branch candelabra, gift of the English government and located near the Knesset (Parliament).
Afterwards, we'll proceed toward Bethlehem (house of bread), where Jesus was born. Here it is possible to admire the Church and the Cave of the Nativity. Back to Jerusalem, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast in the hotel, we'll depart to Judaean Desert. En route, we'll visit Qumran, a city founded by Essenes civility in the 2nd century B.C., and the caves where in 1947 Dead Sea Scrolls have been discovered. After an introductive short-movie, we'll visit the Essenes settlement, and then we'll move southwards, around 300 m above Dead Sea level. Here, we'll admire the Masada Desert Fortress, isolated from the surrounding area due to steep "wadi" to the North, South and West.
We'll reach the Fortress, built by Herod the Great, by cable car. From the peak it is possible to admire the wonderful desert landscape. Then, we'll move to Dead Sea coasts and, if weather permitting, we can enjoy its amazing and relaxing waters. Back to Jerusalem in the evening, dinner and overnight.
