Volcanoes adventure

After breakfast, depart to Bedugul with its breath-taking view of Lake Beratan.

Stop at Ulun Danu temple on the banks of the lake, and also the market of fruit and flowers.

Later it is possible to have fun on the banks of the Twin Lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan, and stop at the Munduk waterfall before continuing to Pemuteran.

Departure to the beaches of North Bali, through the West Bali National Park we will reach Gilimanuk.

Short ferry to Java, lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon we will visit the small town of Banyuwangi, where, aboard a rickshaw, we will visit the traditional market and the Chinese temple.

In the evening arrival at the hotel on the slopes of Mount Ijen, dinner and overnight.

Departure to Licin Village, then we will move aboard a 4x4 car along the slope of Mount Ijen and through stretches of plantations and rainforest. This one is one of the few that have remained on the island with large ferns and huge trees.

Stop at the Park Renger before continuing the trek to climb to the crater. It will take about two hours to reach the top, along a shady path with breath-taking views. We will stop at about 2383 meters above sea level, where the lake of sulphuric acid reflects its particular colour on the surrounding rocks. It gives an apocalyptic impression to the atmosphere. Here, the men, who once looked for sulphur, used to climb down along the walls of the crater and went back the dangerous ridges with over 80 kg on their shoulders. At the top we will have free time to admire this magnificent environment.

We will return to the hotel for lunch.

Afternoon free time for individual activities and relax.

Departure to a beautiful coffee plantation established by the Dutch government near Banyuwangi. Here there is a concentration of plantations of coffee, cocoa, clove and rubber. These plantations are handled impeccably and represent the main economic resource of the area.

The visit includes a careful observation of the coffee plant, of the same plantation and everything related to the social and cultural life of those who inhabit this area.

Lunch at a local restaurant, then we will go back to Bali.

Overnight in Lovina.

We will leave the north coast of Bali and reach the center of the island.

Before proceeding to the source of Sebatu and rice paddies of Tegallalang, we will stop in Kintamani where it is possible to enjoy a beautiful view of the lake and Mount Batur. 

In the afternoon arrival in Ubud, home of Balinese painters.
