Kintamani
Kintamani is a small mountain village. It is located in the centre of Bali and facing the Mount Batur.
The design of the city is typical and suggestive, the houses are made of wood and bamboo. The material work as isolations, to protect the inside from the winds.
Every three days a local market takes place, here the inhabitant use to sell and buy fruits and vegetables.
Other renowned feature of the village is its typical dance: here, during the celebrations, it is possible to admire the Sanghyang, a dance made during a trance moment.
The city is also rich in cultural heritage. In Kintamani it is possible to visit the biggest religious complex of Bali: the Pura Ulun Danu temple. It boasts 285 altars enclosed by a decorated limits.
