After breakfast, transfer to Washington by bus.
It is the federal capital of United States located in the District of Columbia and the home of the most important governance institutions (President, Congress, High Court), many ministries and federal entities, as well as of some international organizations, among which the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and the Organization of American States.

During the route to reach Washington, stop in Philadephia, to visit the Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.

The morning is devoted to the tour of the city, federal capital of United States.
White House, Capitol, Washington Monument, National Arlington Cemetery are only some of the main sights.

Then, departure for Williamsburg, capital of Virginia during the colonial ages. Here, it is possible to stroll Duke of Gloucester Street, studded by important public buildings, houses belonging to the colonial epoch and the William & Mary College.
After the free lunch, the tour continues to Roanoke, the second English settlement in the new world founded during the 16th century. The city also was the set of a biting battle during the American Civil War.

After breakfast, departure for Cherokee going through the Blue Ridge Parkway and admiring the suggestive Blue Ridge Mountains, a part of the Appalachian Mountains. This mountain range extends from Harpers Ferry, Western Virginia, to Georgia, passing through the States of Virginia and North Carolina. The highest peak is Mount Mitchell (2,037 m).

In the afternoon arrival in Cherokee. The name of the city is connected with its founders, the American Cherokee natives.

The morning is dedicated to the visit of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with its wild and untouched nature. Stop at Mountain Farm and visit to the museum to get an idea about the Appalachian farmers' life.
After free lunch, the tour continues to Nashville, the capital city of Tennessee and home of country music. This is why it is named "Music City", it also host the headquarter of Grand Ole Opry, a famous radio program about country music, of Country Music Hall of Fame and of many recording enterprises. Furthermore, one of the most important enterprises in manufacturing of guitars and bass, the Gibson, has here its seat.

After having completed the tour of Nashville, the trip continues to Memphis, passing through the beautiful countryside of Tennessee. Memphis is worldwide known to be the cradle of many American music genres, among which Blues, Gospel, Rock and Roll. Furthermore, many artists have grown here or have started here their career, as: Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley (buried here), Aretha Franklin, Justin Timberlake, Jerry Lee Lewis, Muddy Waters, Tina Turner, Otis Redding and many others. The city is also famous because on April 4, 1968, Martin Luther King was killed.

Tour of the city, starting from Beale Street, the heart of the music scene, to arrive to the National Civil Rights Museum. During the afternoon, the fans of the "King of Rock & Roll" have the chance to take part in an excursion (optional and with additional charge) to Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley.

After breakfast, departure to reach Mississippi, also called "The Magnolia State". During the route, the tour passes through Jackson, the capital city, to reach Lousiana and New Orleans, the funnest and most exciting cities in the Southern of United States.
The city is located on the banks of Mississippi and was founded on November 1, 1718 by the Mississippi Company's men. Its name is dedicated to Philippe d'Orléans, Duke of Orléans. New Orleans is considered an unmissable spot in the country. It is characterized by the union of the French and American flavours, and is recognized to being the first city that hosted black people from Senegal, which contributed to the growth and development of Jazz.
New Orleans is also mentioned in the song "The House of The Rising Sun", a native song of the city.

During the evening there is the chance to take part in a cruise over Mississippi (optional and with additional charge) on board of a steam boat accompanied by the rhythm of Jazz.

Free time during the whole day to visit the city according to your personal style. Explore the beauties of the French atmosphere strolling the French Quarter, where the wrought iron balconies overlook the narrow and characteristical alleys. Do not give up the chance to enter in some delicous restaurants and in Dixieland Jazz Club.
It is also possible to take part in an optional excursion, as a tour in the lagoons where the alligators live; or a visit to a plantation or the taste of a brunch on Jazz music rhythm.
