After breakfast drive (130kms / 3hours) to Kanchipuram - the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines.

Visiting of Ekambareshwara Temple, Kamatchi Amman Temple and Vaikunda Perumal Temple.

After lunch drive (65kms / 1.5hours) to Mahabalipuram to visit shore temple, Arjuna’s penance and Five Rathas.

Check-in to your hotel and overnight in Mahabalipuram.

In the morning, after breakfast, departure for Tiruvannamalai.

Check-in to hotel and afternoon visiting to Arunachaleswara temple of Lord Shiva and visit Ramana Maharishi Ashram.

Option for walk around the Holy Mountain.

After breakfast proceeding to Pondicherry, which carries a strong whiff of the French presence in India. This French colony on the east coast of South India merged with the rest of the country in 1954.

Legend says that Pondicherry is the place where St. Agasthaya settled down. In the afternoon we will visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram the "city of dawn". This ashram promotes Aurobindo's ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science to unite the spirit and matter. In addition visiting to Manakulla Vinayagar Temple and exploration of the French Quarters.

Overnight in Pondicherry.

Morning after breakfast drive (200kms / 5hours) to Tanjore.

Enroute visiting of Chidambaram, famous for the Nataraja temple with the root of the sanctum-sanctorum covered with golden plates. In this temple postures from the Bharatanatayam form of dance are depicted in sculpture.

Later drive to Tanjore. Check-in to the hotel and rest of the day free.

Overnight in Tanjore.


 

In the morning we will explore the famous Chola Temple of Brahadeeswara at Tanjore and visit the Royal Palace.

Later drive to Trichy - situated on the banks of Kaveri River is a blend of history and tradition as well as pilgrim center famous for Ranganatha Temple at Srirangam.

On arrival check-in to the hotel. Afternoon visiting of Srirangam Temple, Jamubukeshwara Temple and Rock Fort Temple.

Overnight in Trichy.

After breakfast departure for Madurai, laid out in the banks of river Vaigai as a lotus flower with the Meenakshi temple in the center.

After lunch we will explore the famous Meenakshi Temple, a superb example of the Dravidian School of Architecture and known for its profusely carved and gigantic gateways. Later we will visit Tirumalai Nayak Palace.

Overnight in Madurai.


 

After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari where you will meet the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean.

Check-in to your hotel and in the afternoon visiting of Kumari Amman Temple, sanctity dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Kanya Kumari. Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a blend of all the architectural styles of India.

Evening enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Arabian Sea.

Overnight in Kanyakumari.

During the early morning we will witness the sunrise.

After breakfast transfer to Trivandrum, check-in to your hotel and in the afternoon you will visit Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Napier Museum and Sri Chitra Art Gallery.
