    Discover the glacier
    Day 1

    You'll be picked up at 8.30 am from your hotel or guesthouse in Reykjavík. After choosing the glacier you want to traverse, you'll have a quick briefing at our headquarters. Then, you'll get to meet the glacier expert that will accompany you during this journey through amazing and breath-taking natural scenarios and environments. The trip departs from the headquarters.

    When the car reaches the stunning snow-covered glacier, the tires will be deflated and the guide lead you on a safe path on the glacier. Once the sun starts to go down everyone will help set up camp and prepare a feast for the hungry explorers.

    Back to civilization
    Day

    In the morning, when the sun rises, everyone packs up the camping gear and starts heading towards civilization. On the way back you get to drive on rough mountain roads, cross rivers and witness the spectecular gifts that the earth has blessed Icelandic nature with.

    • The Arctic Truck vehicle and guide/ instructor - min 2 vehicles on each trip
    • Accommodation in glacier tents for 1 night and all gear you need to camp out on the glacier
    • Meals: Lunch and dinner on day 1, breakfast and lunch on day 2

    Bring with you very, very warm outdoor clothing - dress like you are going to the south pole, also you need to bring your driver licence, good shoes, your camera and some snacks.
