Here are some highlights of the tour:
Your adventure tour begins in Stavsnäs with a trip in a taxi boat to Runmarö Island, where you will be welcomed at the jetty by your guide. Try out the equipment and get comfortable with your kayak. Take a short tour around Runmarö Island, which is one of the best paddling areas in the whole archipelago.
Paddle silently along narrow, shallow passages between the islets and when night falls, sleep on comfortable air mattresses in 2-person tents (2 people will be assigned per tent).
Wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and tea. Your guide prepares all meals during your trip, so you can relax, explore the islands and look out for wildlife. You will spend lunch and dinner on different islands every day. There are no set routes, as the weather and wind and the strength of the group decide. You will kayak through narrow openings between islands and cover both small and long crossings. You will almost always be able to spot eagles, seals, minks, lots of different migration birds and sometimes even moose and deer on the islands. Evenings and dinner will be spent relaxing in camp.
Wake up early for a morning swim or a dawn paddle. After a hearty breakfast, explore new inlets, islets, and skerries. Then, turn your bows around and head back towards Runmarö to unpack and tidy up all the gear before going back to Stavsnäs in the late afternoon.
Tours are run from the island of Runmarö. It is situated outside Värmdö, due east from the city of Stockholm.Starts at Meeting Point: Slussen at 08:48.
