Java Overland Tour in Indonesia

Arrive at Jakarta airport, transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner and overnight. 

Set off towards Bogor botanical gardens, a huge tropical park 110 hectares wide, established in 1817 and developed around the residence of the Governor of the Netherlands Indies.

Besides being home to all varieties of wood, lianas and flowers from the virgin forest, the park has become a great research center for tropical flora and its palace hosts all important guests of the Indonesian Republic.The roads climbs up to Puncak pass where you'll stop for lunch, you'll then continue along a winding road amidst manicured tea plantations via Cipanas and Bandung, the "Flower City", situated in a wide basin 700 m high, offering a refreshening alternative to the oppressive heat of the capital

Overnight in hotel. 

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Tangkuban Prahu with its active crater, then Cater Hot Spring, where you can use the hot water pool for swimming or simply relaxing. Lunch in a local restaurant. You'll also visit Lembang with the local markets selling jeans in Cihampelas, where you buy jeans at extremely convenient prices. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight. 

Breakfast at the hotel. In the early morning you'll set off to Wonosobo with a stop at Naga Village, a traditional West Java village. Enroute you'll cross beautiful mountain landscapes. Stop at Tasikmalaya for the local craftmanship where lunch will be served in a local restaurant along the way. In the late afternoon arrive in Wonosobo, transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the early morning depart to Dieng Plateau where you'll visit the active crater of Sikidang, Dieng temple complex dating back to the 7th century and beautiful lakes Pengilon and Warno. Lunch in a local restaurant in Wonosobo.

You'll continue on to Jogjakarta with a visit to famous Borobodur temple, the most important Buddhist temple in Indonesia, where you can also visit Pawon and Mendut temples in the vicinity. At the end transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight. 

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning Yogjakarta city tour visiting the Sultan Palace, the water castle, the bird market, the batik manufactory and silver factories in Kotagede. Lunch in a local restaurant, free time in the afternoon. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. 

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Prambanan complex, the most imposing and large Hindu temple in Indonesia. Continue to Bromo with some stops along the way to see seasonal plantations and a tropical rainforest. Lunch in a local restaurant, in the late afternoon, arrive in Bromo and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. At dawn you'll set off on a jeep to Pananjakan to see a beautiful sunrise.Continue to Mount Bromo, passing the sand sea till reaching the crater. After enjoying the stunning view of Mount Bromo and sorrounds, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later on depart to Surabaya with lunch along the way.
