    Day 1

    Arrive in Jogjakarta.

    Morning dedicated to a guided tour of Prambanan monuments; a vast complex of small temples set around a central group of eight bigger temples, dominated by Shiva temples. If you interpret Borobudur complex as a text of the Buddhist doctrine in the temple of Shiva, with its temples and reliefs representing the stories of Ramayana, you'll recognize a test from Hinduism.

    Continue with the visit to Affandi museum and a traditional batik factory, then stop for lunch.

    Transfer out of the city, near Borobudur Temple.

    Accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight.

    Day 2

    Wake up before dawn and set off to admire the sun rise of Borobudur temple: recognized all over the world as the monumental and greater expression of Buddhist Javanese architecture, built between 750 and 850 in volcanic stone, using the upper part of a hill as a base, enriched with countless sculptures and panels of basreliefs, it can be interpreted as an immense mandala or cosmogram neatly arranged arround the great Buddha stupa.

    Return to the hotel for breakfast.

    Check out and return to the city with a stop to visit the temples of Candhi Mendut and Candhi Pawon.

    Accommodation in a hotel and rest of the day dedicated to sightseeing in the Sultan Palace, the bird market, the Water Castle and in a factory producing silver objects.

    Dinner in a local restaurant with Javanese dance and overnight in the hotel.
