    Day 1

    Departure from Las Vegas to Zion National Park, located in the Southern-West of America, in the State of Utah.

    The main important touristic attraction in the park is Zion Canyon, a gorge 24 km long and 800 m deep, carved by Virgin River.

    Free lunch and departure for the amazing Bryce Canyon, a enormous amphitheater created by the erosion of the oriental part of the Paunsaugunt plateau.

    Bryce Canyon is popular for its typical pinnacles, the "hoodoos". They are the results of the erosion path produced by water, wind and ice which attack the sedimentary fluviale and lacustrine rocks. These rocks have intensive colours from red to pink.

    Bryce Canyon - Salt Lake City
    Day 2

    After breakfast, transfer to Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah. Its name is connected with the Great Salt Lake, located in the North-West of the city.

    In the past the city was inhabitated by american tribes as Shoshone and Ute, nowadays it is considered the capital of Mormon. In fact, the first permanent settlements were built by groups of Mormons, which travelled beyond the borders of United States seeking a peaceful area where practicing their religion. Upon arrival, on July 24, 1847, the President of the Church, Brigham Young, said " this is the place" and dedicated the site for the Salt Lake Temple. The latter had to be the most important temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is located on Temple Square, in the city center, and it took 40 years for its completion, 1853-1893.

    Salt Lake City - Yellowstone National Park
    Day 3

    Breakfast at hotel.

    The whole day is dedicated to the discovery of Yellowstone National Park, the most ancient national park in the world (it was founded in 1872) and it has been declared World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1978.

    Yellowstone is one of the biggest untouched ecosystems of temperate zone on the Earth. Its area is cut by different rivers, the longest is Yellowstone River, from which the park takes its name. This river goes through the park from South to North to finally throw in the namesake lake forming two wonderful waterfalls. The park is renowned for its several geysers, hot water springs (200°C) and other interesting geothermal zones. The geyser present in the park are about 400; furthermore here, they reach the highest density in the world and show the biggest  regular steam jets high 50 m. In this reserve more than 60 mammalian species live, among which, gray wolf, baribal, american bison, brown bear, moose, mule deer, bighorn sheep, wapiti, mountain goat, puma, North American river otter, American goat-antelope, the famous sea eagle with its white head, became the symbol of United States of America, but also other species, which are facing extintion, as lynx and grizzly bear, became the symbol of Yellowstone.

    After breakfast, the tour continues to Jackson Hole, passing through Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole is a wide valley in the State of Wyoming, its average elevation is around 2000 m.

    Visit to Arches National Park, a natural protected area in the United States, which conserves over 2000 natural sandstone arches The landscape offered is unique and amazing. The first hunters migrated in this regions 10.000 years ago, at the end of the ice age. In the park, it is possible to enjoy beautiful walks with a guide or accompanied by a ranger.

    It is located along the Mogollon Rim in the Arizona, among Flagstaff and Sedona. Here, it is possible to enjoy the beautiful rock's formation called "the Cathedral". It was created by nature and boasts a perfect symmetric shape, even with a bell tower. The colour of the landscape are amazing, it varies from the intensive blue of the water to the burning red of Sedona's rocks.
