Mexico tour - Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatan

Transfer by car or van from Cancun airport. Our staff will meet the clients and inform them about the details of the tour. Accommodation at Flamingo hotel in Cancun or Metropol Hotel in Mexico City. (The first night can be either booked in Cancun or Mexico City).

Transfer by car or van to Cancun airport to fly to Tuxtla Gutierrez. Arrive at Tuxtla airport, meet the guide and continue to Chapa de Corzo. Motor launch cruise in Sumidero Canyon. Lunch included. In the afternoon proceed to San Cristobal. Arrive and check in to the hotel.

In the morning visit the city, the market and the native communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. Afternoon at leisure.
 

Morning departure to Palenque. Stop over at Agua Azul waterfalls. Picnic lunch included. In the afternoon arrive in Palenque and check in to the hotel.

The morning will be spent visiting Palenque archaeological site, still partly hidden by the tropical jungle and full of fascination and unique pyramids. Lunch in a local restaurant and departure to Campeche. Upon arrival visit the old town, still enclosed and fortified with towers and walls and still retaining a strong colonial flavour. Check in to the hotel.

Today's first stop is scheduled at Uxmal archaeological site, one of the most important testimonies of the Mayan civilization. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon arrive in Merida, the capital of the state of Yucatan, the "white city", so called because of its colonial buildings. Stop over at the "zocalo" to visit the Cathedral, the Government Building, the City Hall and Montejo's House. Overnight in a hotel.

Travel towards the sea stopping halfway to visit Chichen Itza, maybe the most popular Mayan archaeological area, with famous Kukulkan pyramid. Lunch in a local restaurant.

Morning departure to Izamal. Visit the convent and proceed to Ek-Balam. Visit this "new" and almost unknown archaeological area that will impress you with its great charm. At the end of the tour lunch in a restaurant in Valladolid and free time to explore this colonial town or go shopping. In the afternoon arrive at the chosen hotel for your seaside stay.
