A unique tailormade tour and vacation that will make you discover one of the most picturesque countries in South East Asia, meeting local people and learning about their history, art and culture.
Meeting and transfer by private vehicle to the hotel (30 km - 1 hour drive) (warning: the rooms will be available from 2 PM).
Lunch in a typical restaurant, at the end of the afternoon combined escursion - partly on a rickshaw (or electric van) and partly walking - to discover Hanoi architecture, in particular in the District of 36 trades and the colonial quarter of the city. The program for today aims at making you familiarize with Vietnam going on a walk around Hoan Kiem lake, emblem of the city. The suggested walk is interesting for many reasons: first of all, it allows you to discover the richness of the city through its different architectural styles, Vietnamese, Chinese, colonial and communist. Furthermore, it allows you to understand the evolution of the city and its growth in time.
You will be able to explore the architectural treasures of Hanoi such as the fabolous tube homes, some longer than 100 m. You'll visit interesting pagodas where the inhabitants of the city often meet. Combining a walking tour and a rickshaw ride (or by electric van) makes Hanoi discovery much more charming, and travellers become actors and not only spectators.

For the inhabitants of Hanoi, every day is a good day only if it starts with some good exercise. Take part in a fun outdoor aerobics lesson, in one of the many parks of the city. Age and coordination do not matter: let yourself be enraptured by the music, the cheerfulness and don't be shy, you'll surely have fun!

What is better than discovering a country than by experiencing its culinary tradition? Then come discover Hanoi market, an enthralling combination of colors, tastes, lights and voices. Then you'll visit a large ancient local house: here the group will be divided up in different smaller groups, each supervised by a cook and its assistants in the preparation of some traditional dishes. The cooking lesson lasts about 2 hours, the lunch will offer the chance to savour the dishes cooked and the meal will be completed by other dishes prepared by the local cooking staff.
In the afternoon visit Hanoi city and in particular Tran Quoc pagoda and the Temple of Literature, once the "First University in Vietnam", then visit the Museum of Ethnography (closed on Mondays). For the second evening we'll give our guests the chance to satisfy their curiosity and culinary passions by sharing this experience in a more "intimate" way with their travel companion and other participants.
Hanoi offers a refined elegant cuisine in the most famous restaurants of the international hotels or in the area around the Opera, but also more typical options that can surprise with great value for money.

After breakfast, depart to Ninh Binh province (110 km -2.5 hour drive). Arrive in the village of Nho Quan around midday, where you'll have lunch with local people.
In the early afternoon visit Gia Hung village, where we offer a pleasant bicycle ride (8km) on the dam along Boi River to explore the villages of the delta and meet their inhabitants. Once in Van Long, you'll board little rowing boats for a crossing of about 1h 30, among ricefields and the spectacular view of rocky peaks, canals and vegetation.
Return to the hotel, dinner at leisure and overnight in a hotel.
Morning departure to Halong (180 km - 4 hour drive), arrival around midday. Immediate boarding for a 2-hour cruise in Halong Bay on a splendid wooden junk. Lunch and dinner will be served on board and will be based on tasty fresh sea food. Overnight on the junk.
We suggest you wake up at dawn to admire the beauty of the bay in the early morning. After a swim, breakfast on board. Continue the cruise along the bay. Return to the pier around 11 AM.
Departurre to Ninh Giang, a small agricultural village where you can attend a water puppet show in the open air. Lunch prepared by the local villagers.
After lunch you'll get back on the road, crossing ricefields along the delta of the Red River. Arrive at Hanoi airport in time for the evening flight to Hue (VN1545 Ha Noi – Hue 8:10 9:20).
Welcome at the airport and transfer to Hue. Accommodation in a hotel, dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Bike or cyclo ride on the road flanking the river and arrival at Thien Mu pagoda. Stop to visit a house wih a garden typical of the city of Hue, built according to very precise geomancy rules. You'll be sorrounded by a pleasant sensation of serenity and peace. Visit the pagoda, and then travel by car to Minh Mang mausoleum for sightseeing. Lunch in a typical restaurant.
During the afternoon visit the Imperial city and the Tomb of Tu Duc Emperor. Dinner in a local restaurant.
Hue is the symbol of Vietnamese history and culture and one of Hues's main features is gastronomy. Hue's cuisine has a royal influence, so it is very diverse in the ingredients, with particular attention to the art of presentation of dishes. Overnight in the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning depart to Danang, crossing famous "cloud hill", offering a marvellous panorama of the coast from its top. A stop is cheduled at Lang Cô beach, a superb land strip reaching the sea, where travellers can have a walk to take some pictures or have a swim.
Continue to Hoian in the late morning, lunch in a local restaurant in Hoian and check-in to the hotel. Then set off for the visit of Cham temple complex, recognized by Unesco as World Heritage Site. This complex is a religious site dating back to the 4th-13th centuries of Cham Reign.
Return to Hoian, dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, guided tour of Hoi An town (ancient village), recognized Unesco World Heritage Site. Walk along the streets of the town discovering the Chinese houses dating back to over two centuries ago.
Meeting at the pier to reach Cam Kim island on a local boat. After a few minutes you'll reach Kim Bong village, after a short meeting with a famous local sculptor, you'll depart on an entertaining bike tour towards Duy Vinh village, around 13 km of idyllic landscapes amidst ricefields, bamboo fields and tree-lined paths.
Once in the village, you'll discover the traditions and craft techniques of working with cai còi, a plant that thrives in this area and that is used for the construction of the mats. These skills are passed on from generation to generation.
You'll continue to the fishing village beyond a small dam.
Return to Hoian, lunch in a local restaurant. Free time in the ancient town of Hoian to go shopping, return to the hotel, dinner at leisure and overnight in the hotel.
Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Ho Chi Minh. Welcome at Ho Chi Minh airport and transfer to the city, Visit the Chinese district of Cho Lon, in particular Binh Tay market and Thien Hau pagoda.
Lunch in a local restaurant, then visit to other historic sites of the city; the Post Office, Notre-Dame cathedral and Dong Khoi street.
Free time in the city for shopping, dinner at Chill Skybar Restaurant & Lounge; near the city center, the perfect location where to spend your last night in Vietnam, in this capital which is always alive and dynamic, enjoying a breath-taking view of the city.
Overnight in the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning depart to Ben Tre. Upon arrival, board a boat that will sail the river to discover the daily activities of the inhabitants. You can even admire the production of bricks and salt. Continue to the coves of Cai Son and Nhon Thanh, where the local families have specialized in the production of carpets. Seasonal fruit tasting. You'll continue exploring the sorrounding area on a bike. The journey proceeds through ricefileds and vegetables.
Lunch in a local home. In the afternoon, you'll take a rowing boat in Cai Coi islet and board to explore Cai Coi river. You'll visit a rice manufactory ane and an old house which is typical of this area.
Return to Ho Chi Minh due around 4.30 PM. Direct transfer to the airport. The rooms will be at your disposal till midday.
