Cornerstone of the tour is the visit to the majestic Angkor complex, huge evidence of the great Khmer civilization and indelible proof of the history and culture of the entire Indochina.

From Phnom Penh, through picturesque scenery of the Cambodian countryside, we reach Kompong Thom. Along the way, stop at the Kuhear Nokor Temple and at the Phum Prasat.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit to the important archaeological site of Sambor Prei Kuk, which is the ancient city of Isanapura which was the capital city of the kingdom of Chenla during the 7th century. It is a wide archaeological area not much visited by visitors. It includes three monasteries: the South group of Prasat Yeay Poan, the central group of Prasat Tor and the North group of Prasat Sambor. This is the most important stonework complex of towers-sanctuary belonging to the Pre-classic period and forewords all architectural themes and styles of religious architecture of Angkor.

Departure to Siem Reap, and along the way, stop to admire the amazing landscape. We will pass on a massive laterite and sandstone bridge built by Jayavarman VII.
Once arrived, accommodation in the hotel and lunch at a local restaurant.

Departure to Bantey Chmar and Banteay Top for a beautiful excursion.

In the afternoon, departure to Battambang and once arrived, accommodation in the hotel.

In the early morning excursion for the city of Battambang aboard a Tuk Tuk. Later, aboard the Bamboo Train, also called Norry, a special vehicle used by farmers, we will visit the surrounded rural villages.
Then, we will move to the port and transfer to Siem Reap by boat. We will cross the Tonlesap Lake (the best period to make the cruise is from September to December, so that the boat cannot hang in the shallows).

Once arrived, accommodation in the hotel.

Visit to the Angkor Temple, the largest archaeological site in the world, where 276 monuments of primary importance were classified.
Through the grand monumental doors we will enter in Angkor Thom, and admire the famous Bayon, a temple full of sculptures and decorations dedicated to the Buddha.
Then, we will continue the visit to: the Elephants Terrace, Leper King Terrace, the Baphuon, the Royal Palace and the Gates of Victory and Death.
Lunch during the excursion at the Angkor Café.
In the afternoon visit to Banteay Kdey, Preak Khan, Neak Pean and Ta Som, East Mebon until sunset.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Departure in the early morning to watch the sunrise and later back to the hotel for breakfast.
Then, visit to the easternmost part of Angkor Wat where it is possible to admire the "Churning of the Milk Ocean", the most famous bas-relief of Angkor Wat. Here, gods and demons fight to produce the amrita, the elixir of immortality (in some periods of the year it is not possible to attend the visit).

Afternoon visit to Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm and a beautiful sunset from Bakheng.

Full day excursion to Beng Mealea, one of the most mysterious and fascinating Khmer temples. It is located 63 Km from Siem Reap. It is a colossal example of temple in a post-Angkor Wat style, that is not found in any other Khmer monument. Today it is located in the jungle and not well kept.
We will continue with the visit of the ruins of Koh Ker, still perfectly preserved.
Lunch during the excursion.
Then, return to Siem Reap.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Excursion to the Phnom Kulen Mountain, a wide and high hill, situated 40 km from Siem Reap.
Then, lunch in a local restaurant of Banteay Srei. In the afternoon visit to the temples of the city.

The end of our tour has come. After breakfast, you will have free time until the transfer to the airport.
