Upon arrival you will be welcomed at Cape Town International Airport and transferred to the Mother City’s iconic “Pink Lady”—the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel—set just off fashionable Kloof Street and a short drive from the bustling V&A Waterfront. Overnight at Belmond Mount Nelson.

In order to explore Cape Town and surrounds, you can take a guided Cape Peninsula tour which will take you along the Atlantic Ocean from Cape Town to the scenic Cape Point. Take a trip through history visiting Robben Island, enjoy sundowners in Camps Bay, go to the top of Table Mountain, and spoil yourself with delicious meals and an array of excellent restaurants in and around the Mother City. As a special treat, indulge in elegant sweet and savoury finger-bites during a famous Mount Nelson Afternoon High Tea, which is included in your package. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your onward flight to George (flight for own account). A transfer to the Fancourt Hotel awaits upon arrival at the intimate George Airport. George lies at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains on South Africa’s renowned Garden Route, a region which is known for its unparalleled natural beauty.

Aside from the Fancourt Estate’s well-known golf courses, the town is also the ideal base from where to explore other treasures, such as the Little Karoo’s Oudtshoorn—the “ostrich capital of the world”—and spectacular ocean views and a long white sandy beach at Wilderness, a small seaside town situated a mere 15 km away. The following two full days are at your disposal for some refined rounds of golf. The estate’s three highly ranked golf courses are located within the estate’s beautiful and lush setting. Booking in advance is essential. An approximate three-hour road transfer brings you to the Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, a wilderness sanctuary surrounded by ancient volcanic mountains, located between the country towns of Barrydale and Montagu. The contemporary Dwyka Tented Lodge is ideally hidden in a dry Karoo ravine, offering guests a secluded luxury experience amidst natural surroundings. Overnight at Dwyka Tented Lodge in Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. Full board.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives through the reserve in search of an array of wildlife, such as giraffe, zebra, cheetah and the unique White lion. Guests at this premier game lodge get to enjoy a scrumptious boma dinner (weather dependent) before heading to their tented accommodation with a glass of wine in hand to indulge in some relaxation time in the privacy of their own Jacuzzi whilst looking out over the starry night sky.
