Sundarbans National Park is home to many different species of birds, mammals, insects, reptiles and fishes. Over 120 species of fish and over 270 species of birds have been recorded in this area. The gangetic river dolphin is common in the rivers, and no less than 50 species of reptiles and eight species of amphibians are known to live here. The Sundarbans is currently home to the only population of  salt - water crocodile in Bangladesh,  around two hundred individuals.

About 32 species of mammal are still found in this forest. Among these are Rhesus Macaques, clawless otters, leopard cats, fishing cats and spotted deer. The entire Sundarbans forest comprises the largest remaining tract of habitat for the royal Bengal tiger.

    Dhaka - Khulna
    Day 1

    Leave Dhaka by the reserved AC van for Khulna. Arrival in Khulna and transfer to hotel for overnight.

    Khulna - Bagherat - Khulna
    Day 2

    After an early breakfast, drive to Bagerhat, the Islamic metropolis for sightseeing. Here, you will explore an old mosque with a massive structure having sixty domes and you will also visit the area including some more mosques. Then back to hotel and overnight.

    Khulna - Jessor -Khulna
    Day 3

    After breakfast, drive to Jessor for sightseeing. Here, you will visit the house of the famous poet Michel Madhusudan Dutta and also visit the area including some more heritage sides. After lunch you'll be transferred to your waiting boat  and start sailing towards the Sundarbans Forest, overnight on boat.

    Day 4

    Very early in the morning you'll go on a trip inside the little canals on a country boat for bird-watching and wildlife viewing from up close. Back to the boat and start cruising. Then you will stop for more jungle activities, anchoring the boat.

    The guide will accompany you during many optional activities on offer: short walk inside he forest, climbing the watch tower, small boat trip inside the canals, etc. Overnight on board in the forest.

    Sundarbans
    Day 5

    Very early in the morning a trip through the small canals will be offered. After breakfast, more forest activities will include climbing to the watch tower, walking through the forest, trail to the beach and enjoying a bath.

    Back to the boat for lunch. After lunch more walking around the Kotka Forest Station to see deer, monkeys, etc. In the late afternoon the boat will start its return journey towards Mongla. Overnight on the boat.

    Day 6

    Early in the morning the boat will resume its cruising and will stop  where you can see deer, crocodiles, monkeys and pitons. Arrival in Khulna in the evening and transfer to the hotel for overnight.

    Day 7

    After breakfast leave Khulna for Dhaka by reserved AC vehicle. Arrival in Dhaka and end of tour.
