New York City is an american city belonging to the namesake State. The city is located near the Atlantic Ocean.

It is the most populous city in the United States and one of the most populous urban agglomeration in the world. The city can be defined as the cultural and financial capital of the world. New York is composed by five boroughs: Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island.
