Holidays in Finland: skiing and snowmobiling tour in Vuokatti (March)

During the best skiing season in March you get best value-for-money if you choose to travel on weekdays. Spring days are long and within three days you will have time for skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and even for mushing a team of huskies with this unique vacation and tour.

You'll spend your holiday in Vuokatti, a sport resort known for the excellent cross-country ski tracks. Vuokatti is located in north-eastern Finland, the distance from the town of Kajaani is only 35km. There are 150 kilometers of ski tracks in total, out of which 32 kilometres are lighted. 

This tailor made family travel package includes comfortable apartment by the slopes, a snowmobiling tour with or without husky mushing trial and rental equipment for the best activities Vuokatti can offer: snowshoeing and skiing or snowboarding.

Meals are not included but catering to your apartment or a buffet table meal daily at the sports institute can be arranged. In Vuokatti there is also a grocery store if you prefer to cook yourselves.

• Guided tour: snowmobiling with or without a short husky mushing trial 3h (2 people sharing a snowmobile. If you want you can get your own snowmobile for 24€ extra.)

• Flights: not included as it is more economical if you buy a connecting flight
