Drive from Coimbatore airport to Ooty.
Check-in to your hotel, rest of the day free and overnight in Ooty.
Fullday tour of Ooty visiting the 160 years old Botanical Gardens - has some typical tree species, such as cork tree, paper bark tree and monkey puzzle trees - a tree which a monkey cannot climb, 20 million year old fossilized tree, an Italian-style garden bordering a clear pool, a vast variety of flowering bushes and plants in myriad hues, and fern house with an extensive range of ferns and orchids.
Later, boat tour on the lake – an artificial water body which adds beauty to Ooty ‘s tourist attractions and visiting of Doddabeta Peak, the highest peak of Nilgiri Hills, Pykara Lake, and Mini Garden.
Overnight in Ooty.
Morning boarding the train that departs from Ooty at 9.15am.
Enjoy the scenic beauty of Niligiri hills and arrive in Coonoor at 10.30am.
We will proceed to visit Sim’s Park, a beautiful park housing a rare species of Eucalyptus, Acacia, Pinus, Cinnamomum etc... Dolphin Nose is the name of the peak which resembles a dolphin’s nose.
Later return to Ooty and overnight there.
After breakfast drive to Kodaikanal - “Princess of Hill Stations”.
Enroute option to visit Palani Lord Muruga Temple.
Check-in and rest of the day free. Overnight in Kodaikanal.
Day tour of Kodai boating on star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, the most admired place in Kodaikanal which draws visitors in numbers.
Later we will go to Bryant Park, situated close to Kodaikanal Lake. Followed by Coaker’s Walk, Telescope House, Green Valley View, Pillar Rock, and Bear Shola Falls.
Overnight in Kodaikanal.
After breakfast drive to Madurai – the City that Never Sleeps.
Check-in and afternoon visiting to the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, a beautiful piece of architecture, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Later we will visit the Gandhi Memorial Museum, Koodal Azhagar Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Mahal, and Mariamman Teppakulam.
Overnight in Madurai.
After breakfast departure for Rameswaram, one of the holiest centres in India. Check in.
Rameswaram has many stories knitted in its history. It is believed that Lord Rama visited Rameswaram before going to Sri Lanka to save his wife Goddess Sita. Rameswaram is famous for being one of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines and admired for its glorious corridors and enormous sculptured pillars lining them.
Visiting of Ramanathaswamy Temple, Dhanuskodi, Agnitheertham, and Gandamadana Parvatham.
Overnight in Rameshwaram.
After breakfast departure for Kanyakumari, also known as Cape Comorin and located at the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula.
Check-in to your hotel and in the afternoon visiting of Vivekananda Rock - regarded as the sacred monument, which attracts large number of tourists every year from India as well as abroad.
Gandhi Museum, believed to be constructed on the same place where the pot of Gandhi’s ashes was placed, is another major attraction. Kumari Amman Temple is a superb temple situated along the coast and provides mesmerizing views of the ocean to the tourists.
Spend the time by the sea to witness the beautiful view of the sunset over the Arabian Sea.
Overnight in Kanyakumari.
