    Cochin
    Day 1

    Arrival in Cochin airport and transfer to your hotel.

    In the evening we will watch the performance of Kathakali Dance. Overnight in Cochin

    Cochin - Alleppey
    Day 2

    After breakfast tour of historic Fort Cochin and visit to St. Francis Church – 1st European Church in India where the Portuguese navigator Vasco Da Gama was initially buried. Later we will visit Chinese Fishing Nets - introduced by Chinese traders long ago, is still available in Kerala –a traditional method of fishing.

    Then you'll see the Jew Town, Synagogue, spice markets and Dutch Palace which houses lots of Mural Paintings.

    Then we will leave to Alleppey – known as Venice of the East, board your houseboat at 12.30pm and cruise into the canals of Vembanad Lake to witness the traditional Kerala village life remained unchanged for many years. Here your crew will prepare you delicious Kerala meal on board before visiting ancient temples, churches and meet local villagers to see their today life.

    After breakfast disembark from the houseboat and departure for Munnar.

    After breakfast drive to Periyar through the scenic tea, cardamom and pepper plantations.

    Check-in to your hotel and afternoon boat ride on the lake of Periyar to watch wildlife and take the spice plantations tours - you will witness Kerala spices in its natural habitat and take elephant safari.

    After breakfast, leave to Trichy to visit the Srirangam Temple, superb temple surrounded by seven concentric walls with 21 gopurams. Probably it is the largest in India.

    Check in at your hotel and in the evening visiting of Rock Fort Temple - dedicated to Lord Ganesha and exploration of the market area around the temple.

    After breakfast departure for Tanjore.

    Check-in to your hotel and then, visiting to the Brahadeeswara temple which was built by Chola King Rajaraja and is termed as the crowning glory of Chola temple architecture, listed in world heritage monuments.

    We also visit the Tanjore Palace which was constructed in 16th Century and has huge corridors, spacious halls, observation and arsenal towers.

    After breakfast drive to Pondicherry.

    Later we will drive to Mahabalipuram. Check-in to your hotel and then visiting of the Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance - biggest bas relief in the world - and leisure walk to Five Rathas to witness the craftsmen making statues in stones.
