Cerf Island
Cerf Island is an island of the Seychelles about 1 km in length located 3 km off the north coast of Mahé.
The island is located in the National Marine Park of St. Anne and is surrounded by a richly populated coral reef. This coral reef boasts more than 150 species of fish, crabs, sea urchins, sea stars, giant turtles, octopus and others.
It owes its name to the French Navy ship "Le Cerf" which arrived in Port Victoria in 1756.
It is reachable in about 10 minutes by boat from Mahé.
