This travels will let you discover two Balcanic countries, Serbia and Romania, rich in history and traditions.

Our tour will bring you on the track of common ancestry, Romans. In fact, Serbia and Romania were included in the roman provinces. In these cities there are ruins of cities and fortress dating back to the emperor Trajan and the campaign in Dacia.

Then, we will visit the cities of Transylvania, Brasov and Bran, famous for the legends and traditions linked to the legendary of Count Dracula.

Of course, we will also discover the two lively and modern capital cities, Belgrade and Bucharest, also known as "Paris of the East".

    Visit of Belgrade, with the Old Town, the Kalemegdan fortress and the Ethnographic Museum.

    The ancient capital of Yugoslavia and nowadays - the young Serb Republic, has always been the commercial and cultural center of the region. Vibrant, modern, active, constantly expanding and developing, now has with the distributed over 2 million inhabitants. Lying on the small plateau at the confluence of the Danube River  and Sava River, shows large straight avenues shaded by plane trees and lime trees, overlooked by ancient buildings of different styles, spacious parks and green areas.

    In the afternoon excursion to the Zemun, located across the Sava River. Home to the Millennium Tower, built on the hill of Gardos in 1896 by the Hungarians in honour of 1000 years of Hungarian in Pannonia. Zemun was built on the remains of the Roman city of Taurunum, destroyed by the Huns in the fifth century and again fortified by the Byzantines in the ninth century. In 1891 the remains of a shrine of the Roman era were discovered, there they celebrated the gods Dionysus and Hercules, likely popular cult of the Balkan provinces.

    Belgrade - Viminacium - Golubac - Kladovo

    Departure to visit Viminacium. Founded in the first century on the banks of the Mlava River, a tributary of the Danube River, Viminacium was the most important Roman city in the northern part of the province of Moesia. During the campaign of Dacia (101-106) Emperor Trajan had gathered here and the legions formed in its headquarters city. According to the customs of the time the city was home, rich domus, temples, theaters, public baths, the amphitheater and public buildings. In the area have been discovered 40.0000 objects, over 700 gold jewelry and silver and a necropolis with over 14,000 graves. Some of these are still beautiful frescoes of the fourth century.

    Arrival at the Castle Golubac, stop to visit. Continue along the Danube River towards Kladovo. Visit the site of Lepenski Vir located at the Djerdap Gorge, in the plain of the lower Danube. It is the center of one of the most important prehistoric cultures. In the resort of Lepenski Vir were unearthed ruins of sacred architecture of the period from 6500 to 5500 years BC.

    Departure for Romania. Meeting with the guide that will stay with the group for the duration of the tour.

    At 09:00 excursion by boat on the Danube River to the famous Iron Gates: on is a narrow passage, about 3 km long and 160m wide, the Romanian-Serbian border, between Orşova and Turnu Severin. In 1896 to allow navigation was built an artificial channel. The term of the Iron Gates is a deep gorge, a hundred kilometers long, which marks the transition from the Carpathian Mountains to the Southern Balkan Mountains and the bottom of which the Danube River nowadays seems to run quiet, while up to 1973 ships could pass here, only pulled by a locomotive because of the strong currents that characterized. You can see the famous Tabula Traiana engraved in the rock at kilometer 965, reminiscent as early as 33 AD, the Roman Emperor Trajan had been facing the problem of the pitfalls of navigation at this point and had partly solved by carving in rocks overlooking the river a spectacular military road that allowed him to continue his journey to the conquest of Dacia. Fierce opponent of Trajan was Decebalus, the king of the Dacians, whose stern face was carved into the rock between 1994 and 2004, on the bank of Romania, at the height of the small church built on the spot where the waters of the stream Mraconia.

    Departure for Hateg to visit the archaeological site of Sarmisegetusa. Visit the vast archaeological complex Sarmisegetusa once Colinia Ulpia Traiana Augusta Dacica, capital of Roman Dacia, which was founded by Trajan between 106 and 112 AD.

    Departure to Sibiu.

    Stop in Hunedoara to visit the Castle of the Hunyadi family. The castle is a great monument progressively developed in Gothic style first, then in the Renaissance, and finally in the Baroque style. It represents a great drawbridge, towers and courtyards and two large halls, the Hall of the Knights and the Hall of the Diet. It was called so because for some time hosted the meeting of the Diet of Transylvania.

    Arrival in Alba Iulia and visit the Fortified Citadel built by Emperor Charles IV of project Morando Visconti in 1714; also visiting the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the city, one of the most important religious buildings in Romania. The city was founded by the Romans in the second century AD under Marcus Aurelius and destroyed by the Tartars in 1241. Alba Iulia was the residence of the princes of Transylvania and a Roman Catholic bishop.

    Lunch in a restaurant and the road to get to Sibiu – the  European Capital of Culture for 2007.

    Guided tour of the historic center of the city of Sibiu, the European capital, the era known for its fortification system considered the largest of the Transylvanian with over 7 km the walls of which today preserves important vestiges. You can admire the enormous square with the curious roofs with "eyes that follow you," the little square with the Bridge of Lies and the impressive Evangelical church in the Gothic style of the fourteenth century, which preserves a particular fresco presents Jesus in 7 different images.  The church is also known for its organ, considered the largest in Romania, 10,000 barrels.

    Sibiu - Bran - Sinaia

    Departure to Brasov.

    Stop to visit the Bran Castle, known as Dracula's Castle, one of the most picturesque areas of Romania, built in the thirteenth century by the Teutonic knight Dietrich and restored in later periods. Starting in 1920, Bran Castle became the residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Romania. We stayed for a long Queen Maria of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, who rebuilt the interior to the then massively taste Romanian art and craft, and her daughter, Princess Ileana of Romania. In 1948, when the Romanian royal family was expelled from the Communist occupation forces, the castle was occupied.

    Arrival in Brasov and lunch in a restaurant. Guided tour of Brasov, one of the most charming medieval towns in Romania, during which you can admire the District of Schei with the church Sfantul Nicolae and the first Romanian school (XV century). Visit the Biserica Neagra (Black Church), the largest church in Romania in the Gothic style and the city's ancient fortifications with the bastions of the corporations.

    Continue to Sinaia, called the “Pearl of the Carpathians”, the most famous mountain resort in Romania.

    Visit the Peles Castle, former royal residence, built in the late nineteenth century in neo-Gothic style typical of the Bavarian castles. The interior of the castle Peles comprises 160 rooms, set up and decorated in all possible shapes, with clear dominance woodcut.

    Lunch in a restaurant and underground afternoon dedicated to the visit of the Romanian capital, called "Paris of the East" for its wide boulevards and its buildings in the "Belle Epoque" style.  Visit the Triumphal Arch, the Romanian University, the Square of the Revolution, the University Square and the Curtea Domneasca. Explore the Patriarchy (spiritual center of the Rumanian Orthodox Church) and the Palace of Parliament, considered to be the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon in Washington. The building was built on a hill known as the Hill of the Spirits, Uranus Hill, or Hill of Arsenal, which was largely demolished to allow the construction of the building began in 1984. We worked about 700 architects and more 20,000 workers organized in rounds, 24 hours 24, for five years. The building was originally known as the House of the Republic (Casa Republicii) and was meant to serve as headquarters for all the major institutions of the state. At the time of the overthrow and execution of Nicolae Ceausescu in 1989, the project was almost completed.
