Welcome to Nepal! Arrive in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, maybe one of the most picturesque capitals in the world. Situated at an altitude of 1,336 m above sea level, and surrounded by high mountains all around, with the white peaks looking down, it can be viewed clearly from several vantage points in the surroundings. On arrival transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

After breakfast visit Durbar Square - a Royal Palace built by Malla Dynasty in 16th century. See Kumari, a living Goddess Buddhist pagoda style monastery where a Goddess lives all year round, and a multi roofed pagoda called Kasthamandap.  

Nearby is Basantpur Palace - a nine storied pagoda built by King Prithiv Narayan Shah, the first ruler of Shah Dynasty. Later drive towards Swayambhunath - located on top of the hill constructed by the dynasty in 460 AD. There are 211 prayer wheels surrounding the stupa which is one of the most popular pilgrimage centers. Overnight in Kathmandu.

This morning proceed on an excursion to Patan, also known as Lalitpur, a city with nearly two hundred beautiful temples. The city encompasses Buddhist monasteries, Hindu temples with superbly crafted metal gateways and exquisite carvings. See artistic wooden carved balconies and many artisan curio shops before heading back to Kathmandu. Visit Bodnath Stupa and Pashupatinath. You may like to visit Bodnath Stupa at the end of the day to catch some of the evening chanting as local people and monks circle the stupa spinning their prayer wheels as they go.  

Later visit Bhaktapur which has retained its middle age character. Visit Durbar chowk, the Golden gate, the palace of windows, Vatsala & Durga temple, Nyatpola temple (five storey temple), Dattatraya temple, Bhairava Nath temple, National Art Gallery, Taumadhi Square. Evening return for overnight stay in Kathmandu. 

After breakfast drive to Pokhara - an enchanting natural paradise which offers a heavenly beauty and serenity for the inquisitive travellers. The valley is 124 square feet, the home of a numbers of lakes including the most renowned Phewa Lake, it offers an amazing view of the Annapurna range including Annapurna I and VI, Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare. On arrival check in. Evening is at leisure. Overnight in Pokhara. 

This morning trek to the World Peace Pagoda - a massive Buddhist stupa which was constructed by Buddhist monks from the Japanese Nipponzan Myōhōji Organisation. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine is a vantage point which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara city. Continue on foot and take a boat ride on Phewa lake. Overnight in Pokhara. 

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu. On arrival check in. Day is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport for your onward flight.
