Here are the highlights of this unique experience:
Upon arrival at the airport you will meet a representative. Tansfer to the hotel in Jerusalem for overnight.
Begin the day with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of Mount of Olives. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane, Church of the Agony and to Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea scrolls, then a visit to the renovated Model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple.
Continue to Yad Vashem, the world-famous memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust. Afternoon visit to the picturesque village of Ein Karem , where John the Baptist was born. Return to the hotel.
Stroll through one of the Gates to the walled Old City: you'll see the renewed Jewish Quarter; the Western Wall, the Temple area, the bazaars, Via Dolorosa, the Stations of the Cross and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
Transfer to Mt’ Zion to see the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. In the afternoon, it's on to Bethlehem (Site under the Palestinian Authority Jurisdiction. Visit subject to situation), visit the Church of the Nativity and admire a view of the shepherds fields. Return to Jerusalem for overnight.
Depart Jerusalem, and drive north passing through Jericho (Site under the Palestinian Authority Jurisdiction. Visit subject to situation), which is the oldest city in the world. Via the Jordan Valley it's on to Beit Shean for a visit the excavations of this beautiful Roman city.
Continue to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary’s Well. Proceed to Safed, city of the Kabala, for a stroll through the mystic alleys and the artists’ colony. Drive to your hotel for overnight.
Journey to the Golan Heights. Admire the former Syrian fortifications, and the Druze villages. Passing through Banias, source of the Jordan River, travel to the shores of the Sea of Galilee, to Capernaum.
Visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue and Peter's House. Visit Tabgha where the miracle of the Fish & Bread took place and Mt Beatitude. After a brief tour of Tiberias, the old center of Jewish learning, return to your hotel for overnight.
After breakfast travel west to Acre for a visit of the old, famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Proceed to Haifa, sightseeing tour of the city, including the Bahai Shrine, the Persian Garden and Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city.
Continue south to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater and the Crusader fortress. Finally it's on to Tel Aviv-Jaffa for a short city tour and to hotel for overnight.
Free day in Tel Aviv, or for an optional tour to the Dead Sea.
Breakfast and transfer to the airport: end of services.
