A tour and vacation to discover India, surrounded by lush nature of Kashmir, among Srinagar and Gulmarg. During this holiday, you'll overnight on board of cozy house boats, on the water of the famous Dal Lake. You'll have the opportunity to admire colourful boats, floating villages and markets as well as flowered mughal gardens, wide and endless fields enclosed by mountains.

Visiting of the city, surrounded by beautiful scenery and blessed by a perfect climate. We will visit the Mughal Gardens, located a short distance from the lake but crossed by a small canal, called Shalimar. The Nishat Bagh is another garden, featuring 12 terraces, representing the 12 zodiac signs and descending towards the lake in which seem to plunge. The smallest of the gardens is the Chasma Shani also called Royal Spring, located on the hill within the Nehru Memorial Park.
In Srinagar there is the most important Muslim temple of Kashmir, the Hazratbal Mosque, located on the left bank of the Dal Lake, where the steel reverence for the Prophet is evident.
Sightseeing of the Shankaracharya Temple, built by Jaluka, son of Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. It is a place of worship for many faithful.
In the afternoon, excursion on board of the typical boats called Shikaras on Dal Lake. On board you can admire the Nehru Park, the Kabutur Khana, the Charchinari and some small floating islands where there are some vegetable crops.
We will have lunch during the excursion. Dinner and overnight on board of the houseboat.

Transfer to Gulmarg. Arrival and Check-in the hotel.
In the afternoon visiting of the city, called "The flowery meadow" which was discovered in 16th century. This beautiful city is nestled in the Himalayas region and it is placed close to the Line of Control (the military demarcation line that divides the Kashmir area controlled by India from those controlled by Pakistan). In this area, during the winter, are frequent heavy snowfalls that have made it a popular ski resort. In this place there is the highest cable car of the world designed by Gulmarg Gondola.
During the spring is possible to make horseback excursions or buggy's excursions. Gulmarg is also known for its golf field, the highest in the world; even the clubhouse is considered an historic building.
Lunch. Come back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight on board of the houseboat.
End of tour: after breakfast, you'll enjoy your free time until transfer to the airport.
