Nahanni Mountain Lodge is a remote, private, wilderness paradise located in the Nahanni Mountain Range, in Canada. You cannot just imagine, but also be sure to sit on the beach just outside the cabin on your private lake, in fact the lodge is located in front of the pristine water of Little Doctor Lake. The accommodations are nestled along the eastern shore of the lake and are accessible only in summer by Simpson Air floatplanes, the company owned by Ted Grant as well as the lodge.
During the summer it is possible to enjoy the amazing and crystal-clear water of the lake and the sandy beach, which are great for swimming and sunbathing. You can explore the area using motorboats and gas and two canoes with paddles, lifejackets are provided by the staff. You can also fishing for your evening meal.
Nahanni Mountain Lodge provides four log cabins which accommodate up to 20 people comfortably. Electric lights run from a generator, plus there are kerosene and tea light lanterns. The main cabin is also equipped with a propane fridge, stove and all necessary kitchen items: pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, spices and some dry goods, and utensils.
You can add a day tour with your stay at the lodge, this is the best way to discover this stunning and untouched area. Remember not to forget your camera: the sheer natural beauty of the surroundings will take your breath away!
