Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, transfer to your chosen hotel.
Rio de Janeiro was Brazil’s capital from 1763 to 1961. It is located between the mountains and the Atlantic ocean. On its amazing shoreline it is possible to enjoy charming bays and beautiful beaches, studded with islands up and down the coast. Whether at night or during the day, visitors quickly discover why Rio is known as the Marvellous City. The city is also an important centre for art and fashion.
The afternoon is dedicated to half day tour to the Sugar Loaf Mountain, ascending by cable car to have a breath-taking view of the city. Then, visit to downtown Rio that features a panoramic view of the city.
After breakfast you will enjoy a tour to Corcovado and a scenic drive around Rodrigo de Freitas lake.
Then, arrival at the bottom of the Corcovado hill. Here, you embark on a steep short train ride to the top of the mountain, where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is located.
The statue created in 1931 was voted one of the seven wonders of the World. From the peak it is possible to enjoy breath-taking 360° views of the whole city!
You will return to your hotel early in the afternoon.
In the evening experience what Rio has to offer by night with dinner and a show. Enjoy dining in one of Rio’s famous barbecue restaurants. After dinner, enjoy the show at Plataforma (not open on Sundays), a samba house with elaborately costumed singers and dancers, presenting Brazil’s folklore.
After breakfast, the trip continues with a Tijuca Forest tour by Jeep.
Tijuca Forest is known as the world’s largest urban forest. It presents beautiful paths, waterfalls and greenery, and is a perfect union between history and nature.
Free time during the afternoon to discover the city according to your personal style.
In the morning transfer to Manaus by airplane.
Manaus is the capital city of Amazonas, the largest state in Brazil. It is a modern city and one of the fastest growing in the country. It is the perfect point to start a visit to the Amazon region. Tour boats leave Manaus to see the Meeting of the Waters. Here, the dark waters of the Negro River meet the lighter waters of the Solimões River, which flow in parallel without mixing for several miles.
It is also possible to explore river banks and “igarapes” (creeks), swim and canoe in placid lakes or simply walk in the lush forest.
After arriving in Manaus, transfer to the hotel.
The afternoon si dedicated to a city tour of Manaus, which includes the visit of some typical neighbourhoods and the Museum of Indigenous Peoples, where it is possible to admire the traditions, tools and garments used by amazonian Indians.
Afterwards, visit the Teatro Amazonas (Opera House), the primary tourist attraction in the city.

After breakfast, transfer to a Jungle Lodge for a two-night program.

In the afternoon visit to the home of local Amazonian residents (cablocos) and dinner with them. There will be an alligator spotting tour at night.

At the end, transfer to Manaus airport for a flight to Salvador.
Salvador is the capital of the state of Bahia. It was also the capital of the country until 1763. The city is divided into two parts: the "Lower City", at sea level, where the city's original port and commercial area, including Mercado Modelo were found. It is also the best part where experience a capoeira demonstration, a Brazilian martial art developed by the slaves, therefore an important facet of Afro-Brazilian cultural expression.
The "Upper City", reachable through the Lacerda elevator. Here several museums, churches and modern architecture are located. The city, without a doubt, keeps in touch with its African roots and traditions in respect to its cuisine, religion, and artwork.
Upon arrival in Salvador, transfer to the hotel and overnight.
After breakfast, an half-day historical city tour starts.
From the modern suburb of Barra the tour will continue in the old, historical section of town, Pelourinho, with the most expansive selection of preserved colonial architecture in the Americas. Visit to the church of Sao Francisco and its beautiful gold-leafed baroque interior and the Pelourinho Square, the heart of the old town. During the tour it is possible to understand two different aspects of Salvador: the new and the old worlds, concentrating on the early expansion of the city.
Back to the hotel and free time during the afternoon.
In the evening, you will enjoy Bahia by night with dinner and a show at the intimate Miguel de Santana Theatre, in Pelourinho.
The Bahia Folklore Company (Balé Folclórico da Bahia) is one of the most respected folklore dance teams in the world. It performs a seamless presentation of the several African traditions that permeate Bahian culture. Performances include the sacred dances of the Candomblé, puxada de rede, a song by fishermen in honor of Yemanjá, the goddess of the sea, maculelê – an acrobatic stick and sword dance with origins in the cane fields, capoeira, a martial art/dance created by Brazilian slaves and the “samba de roda”, a spinning, swirling version of the national dance.
Dinner at a traditional restaurant at the end of the show. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will start a full day boat cruise.
Embarkation at the port, during the trip you will discover some of the 36 islands in the bay with stops to relax in the sun or swim in the warm waters.
Re-board for a short crossing to the large Itaparica Island for lunch. Enjoy more time to relax on the beach or an optional visit to the colonial town of Itaparica before returning to Salvador.

In the morning, transfert to Salvador Airport for a flight to Belo Horizonte. Upon arrival in Belo Horizonte, you will be picked up at the airport and immediately transferred to the city of Ouro Preto, where you will enjoy your breakfast.
Ouro Preto was founded in the early 18th century. It was built on a rocky ground and declared a national monument in 1933. It is a beautiful village, which boasts several colonial architectures with fountains, churches, ruins and towers with shining colored tiles. Due to its distance from the coast, it is the only town in Brazil to remain as an outstanding artistic and architectural example of that era. Ouro Preto’s baroque architecture can be viewed upon as traditionally Brazilian.

In the morning walking tour of Ouro Preto followed by lunch. It is possible to see some of the remaining sights of Ouro Preto and some of the surviving masterpieces of its colonial architecture.

After breakfast, transfer back to Belo Horizonte Airport for a flight to Iguassu Falls.
The Iguassu Falls are one of the planet’s natural wonders, and one of the country´s main tourist hubs. Iguassu Falls is a municipality that combines tourist attractions and stunning natural beauty. In the “Land of the Falls” it is possible to take in the splendour of native and man-made forests, rivers and lakes, and still have the chance to shop for unique gifts, souvenirs, and interesting local art; not only in the Iguassu Falls, but also in Ciudad del Leste (Paraguay) and Puerto Iguaçu (Argentina).
Formed on the Iguaçu River, the falls go down from an average height of 60 meters (with a high of 82 meters), while the face of the falls is 2700 meters wide. The number of falls varies from 150 to 275, according to the river’s outflow. The major part of the falls is located in Argentina, but all its lush, green beauty can be admired on the Brazilian side. Surrounding trails offer visitors a closer looks at the subtropical forests of Parque Nacional do Iguaçu (Iguaçu National Park) and take visitors to catwalks and lookouts to observe the falls.

The morning is dedicated to a tour of the Brazilian side of the falls, starting from the hotel.
After lunch, you will enjoy a Macuco Safari boat ride at the Argentinian side of the Falls: towed by jeep, visitors are driven through the forest with a chance to watch birds, wild animals and exotic vegetation.
At the end of the ride, a boat takes visitors upstream to the closest possible location under the thundering water falls.

Today you will move to Sao Paulo, wonderful and most well-known city in Brazil.
Then, transfer to Iguassu Airport: the tour is ended.
