Bayan Ulgii

The province of Bayan Ulgii is the westernmost in Mongolia. It occupies a mountainous territory and the northern side of the Altaj range. The area, full of rivers, is inhabited by nomadic populations of Mongolian origins, with a minority of Kazaks which differentiate themselves for their religion, non -traditionalist Sunni islamism, for their tartar language, their clothing and their houses.
