Amed

Amed is located in the east coast of Bali.

It is well-known for its black sandy beaches and represents a perfect destination for the scuba diver, thanks to its interesting seabed.

Amed is not a very rich area, because of its dry ground and the few infrastructures. This is why, the salt is still produced on the seaside. The villages situated on the east part of Amed are mostly composed by fishermen. Here, along the beach, it is possible to see the picturesque traditional boats, that are called jukung.
