Visiting of Old Delhi, the ancient walled city. Passing through the Red Fort, you can admire the most majestic among the monuments of the Mughal Empire, the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built between 1644 and 1658 during the reign of Shah Jahan, it is an impressive piece of architecture about 40m high and made up with red brick and white marble and boasts four towers at the corners and 3 gates. On the banks of the river Yamuna, there is the Rajghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, after his assassination in 1948.

Then there will be a sightseeing of Chandni Chowk. Busy at all hours of the day, the bazaar is located on the main street of Old Delhi, and is attended by both Indians and foreign tourists.

The day is dedicated to the visit of New Delhi: the new part conceived, designed and built in a majestic style by the British in the 20s of XX century. This city boasts wide tree-lined streets, parks, gardens, big residences that host the Parliament, the ministries, embassies, the area of Connaught Place, the financial, commercial and business center.

The India Gate, or the arch of triumph, carries the names of several thousand Indians who lost their lives during the First World War. Opposite there is the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India, perfect blend of Mughal and Western architectural style. Surrounded by huge parks, its construction was completed in 1929. The Qutub Minar,73mt. high, is a tower with a diameter of 15m that is narrow up to a minimum of 2m and a half. It spreads over five floors, each of which has a projecting balcony. The mausoleum of Humayun, built between 1564 and 1572 by Haji Begum, the widow of the second Mughal emperor. After nine years after the death of Humayun, it took eight years to complete its construction. The mausoleum is an imposing structure, designed by the Persian Misak Ghiyaz Mirza, with an octagonal shape, raised with two domes, eight arches and surrounded by a great wall.

Visiting of the Taj Mahal by horse-drawn carriage.
Agra hosts the most photographed monument of the world. No matter how many pictures you have seen or what kind of expectations a person has, the Taj Mahal never disappoints. The glory and the unparalleled beauty of this monument built thanks to love, goes beyond all human expectation. From the perfect symmetry existing in every features, the construction is characterized by the remarkable quality of the inlay work of semi precious stones in marble stone hard style.

We will continue drive to Agra Fort.

Emperor Akbar began the construction of the fort on the banks of the river Yumana in 1565 and it was subsequently enriched with red roses' stones and marble buildings, respectively by the two benefactors Jehangir and Shah Jahan. The colossal double walls of the fort rise of over 20 meters in height and for 2km and a half in length. Inside there is a labyrinth of superb halls, mosques, rooms and gardens which are forming a small city within a city. You can also admire the Jahangir Place, the Khas Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas and two beautiful mosques.

In the afternoon visiting of the Itmad-ud-Daulah placed on the riverside Yamuina, which was a source of inspiration for the construction of the Taj Mahal. This is the first tomb to be built entirely of white marble and finely decorated with semiprecious stones. Four small minarets at the corners complete the structure.

Departure to Jaipur. During the trip we will visit Fatehpur Sikri, a fascinating ghost town made by red sandstone located not far from Agra.
Built thanks to Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri was a real fairytale city and its ruins are still in excellent condition. It is not hard to imagine how the court life must have been during that great time.

Set like a jewel in a courtyard of pink sandstone lies the marble tomb of Saint Salim Chisti, surrounded by finely carved marble. We will visit the Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, the Jami Mosque, the Birbals Palace, the Sunhera Makan, the Palace of Jodha Bai, the Kahan-i-khas, the Diwan-im.

Later our journey leads to Jaipur.

In the morning we will proceed towards to fort Amber. The ascent to the fort will be on the elephant back. Just 11 km far from Jaipur, the Amber Fort is one of the wonderful examples of Rajput architecture that characterized the old capital during the empire Kachhawah. The original palace was built by Raja Man Singh and later completed by Sawai Jai Singh. Inside the palace there are the Diwan-e-Aam, the '' public auditorium "; the Diwan-e-Khas, or the '' private auditorium" and the Sukh Niws, where, in summer, a cool breeze blowing through the channels of water pleasantly cools the air. Then you can observe the private chambers of the queens from the typical windows grates, through which they could observe the various vicissitudes of the royal court. Besides, you can visit the Jai Mandir also called the "Temple of Victory". Its famous Sheesh Mahal is known as the scintillating "Hall of Mirrors".

In the afternoon there will be a visiting to Jaipur. The Hawa Mahal, the famous "Palace of Winds" was built in 1799. The Hawa Mahal is part of the City Palace, commissioned by Sawai Pratap Singh and designed for women of the royal families. Thanks to it, they could easily observe, in private, the road and its daily vicissitudes. The sightseeing will continue with the Palace - Museum. It is located in the heart of the old town and it represented the royal residence. It is characterized by a mix of Rajasthan and Mughal styles . A part of the palace has now become a museum, the rest of the building is used as a daily accommodation of the royal family of Jaipur. The building boasts an art gallery with an excellent collection of paintings, rugs, accessories and rare pieces of real astronomical works.

Jantar Mantar, instead, is the observatory made by stone and erected by the great astronomer Jai Singh II. It is located next to the City Palace. The Jantar Mantar is the largest and the best preserved observatory of the area, and thanks to the available tools, astronomers have been able to measure the position of the stars and calculate eclipses.

Morning excursions to Eklingji and Nagda. Eklingji,located about 23km north-east of Udaipur, is the village of Kailashpuri, popular for its 108 temples surrounded by a high fortified wall. The whole complex is known for the temple of Sri Eklingji, a sacred site associated with the deity Shiva since ancient times. The current structure, however, is dated to the sixteenth century.

Nagda, located near Kailashpuri and reachable by a dirty road in the country, is believed to have been built by Nagaditya, the fourth king of Mewar and descendant of Guhadatta, who was born in a cave in the Aravali mountains. In this area there are also several temples dating to the fourth century AD.

In the afternoon we will visit Udaipur, a beautiful and romantic city of lakes, palaces and fountains. It is known as the "Venice of the East" for its charm and its atmosphere. Shaded by dark green hills, there are the three lakes of Udaipur: Pichola, Fateh Sagar and Udai Sagar, sparkling jewels with a glass surface from which magnificent white palaces rise. 
Mahahrana Udai Singh tried to find a shelter in these areas to escape Mughal hordes, and made the city within the valley modern.

Visiting of the City Palace Museum. It is a grand, opulent and beautiful building with marble and granite, with an explosion of white balconies, windows, ornated arches and domes that rise from the octagonal towers. Not to be missed is the Jagdish temple that was erected in 1651 AD.

In the evening we will have a cruise on the Lake Pichola, the largest and most majestic lake in the area. It is dominated from the top by green hills, while along its banks are located palaces, houses, ghats, temples and gardens. Jag Niwas and Jag Mahal (Jag Mandir) are the two buildings that add a romantic note to this fantastic setting.

Visiting of the city of Mumbai. We will start from the India's door, the landmark of the city. Built on the Apollo Bunder, its architecture resembles the Arc de Triomphe characterized by elements which are typical of the Muslim style of the 16th century.

Then, we will proceed to the Museum of the Prince of Wales, which hosts rare ancient objects from the Indian history as well as findings from foreign lands, and to the Victoria Terminus, the train station, now called Chatrapati Shivaji and designed in Italian Gothic style. Proceeding we will meet the pretty Hanging Gardens and the Kamala Nehru Park. Both places are located on Malabar Hill and they offer a great views of the Sea of Arabia.

Visit of the Mani Bhavan. It was the epicenter of the movement for the freedom of Mahatma Gandhi, now it is the monument dedicated to his memory.
