Isabelle Bornemann

Isabelle Bornemann is the founder of Alaska Travel Connections. Originally from Germany, Isabelle first came to Alaska in 1985, when her father promised her a trip to Hawaii if she would visit him in Alaska, where he was working as a geologist at the time. That one visit led to Isabelle’s life-long passion for Alaska, and in 1994 she said good-bye to Europe and moved to Alaska for good.

Speaking German and Swedish quickly landed Isabelle a job in Alaska’s tourism industry. Over the next 20 years, Isabelle greatly expanded her knowledge of Alaska, and now she plans itineraries and guides clients throughout this magnificent state.
