Desroches Island
Desroches Island is the main island of the Amirantes Archipelago. It is located about 230 km south-west of Mahé, the largest island of the Seychelles, to which is daily connected thanks to scheduled flights of about 40 minutes.
It is about 6 km long, 1.5 km wide and boasts 14km of uncontaminated beaches of thin white sand, crystal clear waters and abundant coconut palms. This exclusive island is one of the most beautiful of the Indian Ocean, and probably of the world.
Located only 5 degrees south of the equator, Desroches Island is considered one of the most uncontaminated islands and one of the healthiest climates in the world. It hasn't any risk of malaria.
This island is the perfect haven for romanticism, adventure and relax.
