Island Hopper Vacations started its activities in the Cook Islands in 1990: it was established by Robert Skews and the shareholders of Air Rarotonga who decided to found an inbound operation in the archipelago. The name Island Hopper was taken from Air Rarotonga that had previously used as a brand for a product. We had decided to start a business and offer a new level of service and support that was not being provided – a level of service that had been requested by many of the overseas wholesalers from Air Rarotonga.

As a company, Island Hopper tries to invest on its staff and those who strive to achieve, generally do so. We are now one of the leading inbound operations in the South Pacific.
