    Ho Chi Minh City on arrival
    Day 1

    Meeting with our guide at Ho Chi Minh City Airport, then transfer to the hotel and check-in.

    You will enjoy the orientation tour of Ho Chi Minh City and also visit some highlight buildings such as: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Hall and Opera House.

    Cu Chi Tunnel
    Day 2

    Today you will have a chance to look back to Viet Nam War in 1960s & 1970s in Cu Chi area.

    Cu Chi is famous for the tunnel system, which is the most complicated tunnel in the world and is over 200 km long. Visiting the tunnel for an hour you will see the private entrance of the tunnel, Commander Bunker, Fighting Bunker, Meeting Bunker and Health Care Bunker.

    We will get back to Ho Chi Minh City by lunch time then visit the War Remnants and China town.

    Ho Chi Minh City - Hoi An
    Day 3

    In the morning we will take a short flight to Da Nang then proceed to Hoi An, World Cultural Heritage site.

    As soon as we get to hotel in Hoi An, we will take a walking tour to this ancient city. It takes us about 2 hours to visit most of the local tourist attractions such as: Thien Hau Temple, Cantonese Communal House, Sa Huynh Culture Museum, and Tan Ky Ancient Trade House.

    In the afternoon you are free at leisure.

    Hoi An - My Son
    Day 4

    In the morning we will take a half day trip to My Son Sanctuary, the historical site of Champa Kingdom, which was a very powerful and prosperous Kingdom in Southeast Asia from the 4th  century to the 11th century.

    We will visit some temples in My Son area and also enjoy Champa Traditional Dance show.

    By lunch time we will be back in Hoi An.

    In the late afternoon we will take a boat cruise on Thu Bon River to enjoy the scenery and fishing activity of local people.

    We will take part in a cooking class and enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.

    Hoi An - Hue
    Day 5

    Today we will enjoy the most beautiful area in the central part of Vietnam: Marble Mountain, Non Nuoc beach, Hai Van Pass, Lang Co beach and Tam Giang lagoon.

    By lunch time we will arrive in Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam.

    In the afternoon we will take a boat trip to Thien Mu Pagoda, which was built in the 17th century by Nguyen Hoang Lord. This pagoda is the home of Thich Quang Duc Monk, who immolated himself in 1963 to protest against Diem government then we visit Citadel, Imperial and Forbidden City of Hue.

    We will end the day with a visit to Tu Duc Tomb.

    Hue - Dong Hoi
    Day 6

    You are free at leisure then drive north following the Ho Chi Minh Trail, which acted as the north-south supply route during the Vietnam War, towards Dong Hoi.

    Phong Nha Cave - Hue
    Day 7

    Visit the UNESCO listed Phong Nha Cave - the largest and most beautiful cave in Vietnam. It’s remarkable for its thousands of meters of underground passage ways and river caves filled with abundant stalactites and stalagmites.

    Return Hue in the afternoon.

    Tonight enjoy royal-style dinner.

    Hue - Ha Noi
    Day 8

    In the morning we will take a short flight to Ha Noi, a thousand year old city.

    Ha Noi is a charming and lovely city in Red River Delta, which is very rich of culture and history.  City tour in Ha Noi with some highlights: Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake and the ancient quarters.

    In the evening we will enjoy a water puppet show at Thang Long Theater.

    Ha Noi - Ha Long
    Day 9

    In the morning we will depart for Ha Long, World Natural Heritage site. Ha Long Bay covers nearly 1500 sqkm and has thousands of limestone islands and islets on all sides reflecting on turquoise water. On arrival we get on board for a boat cruise and visit some caves in this area.

    Then we will visit Ti Top beach where we can have a quick swim.

    Dinner and overnight stay are on board.

    Ha Long - Ninh Binh
    Day 10

    In the morning we will do more cave excursions by rowing boat or kayak then take boat back to the dock for the trip back to Ha Noi.

    Check out and have early lunch before continuing our journey to Ninh Binh.

    Ancient Citadel - Trang An - Lao Cai
    Day 11

    Morning departure for Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Here, you will have a chance to explore the temples of Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, then go ahead to Trang An with the huge rock formations jutting out of the rice paddies. 

    Enjoy a peaceful tour of eleven remarkable caves of Trang An by rowing-boat.

    Return Ha Noi then transfer to Ha Noi Railway station for an overnight train to Lao Cai.

    Sapa
    Day 12

    In the early morning we will get to Lao Cai Railway station then transfer to Sapa town.

    Sapa is a hill station resort built during the French occupation in the 1890s and a lovely town located at 1600m above sea level. Sapa is very famous for hill tribe markets, mountainous and fabulous Hoang Lien Son Mountain range.

    Breakfast is in a hotel where we can leave our luggage then we trek to Ta Van and Lao Chai village.

    We will have a picnic lunch then transfer to hotel for check in.

    Free at leisure.

    Sapa - Ha Noi
    Day 13

    In the morning we trek to Cat Cat village for 2 hours then free at leisure.

    In the late afternoon we drive to Lao Cai Railway station for an overnight train to Ha Noi, en route, we visit Ta Phin the home of the Red Dzao people. We also have a chance to visit the border gate between Vietnam and China at Lao Cai town before getting on the train.

    Dinner is in a local restaurant.

    Ha Noi - Duong Lam Ancient Village
    Day 14

    We depart for Duong Lam ancient village, about 1,200 years old in Son Tay Town (60km to the west of Ha Noi capital).

    This town is also recognized as a Vietnam national relic by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. Upon arrival, walk along the ancient alleys to Mong Phu Hamlet, its original entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes to visit Mong Phu Communal house and walk around the village to discover the peaceful life of Vietnamese peasants.

    The last stop will be at two ancient houses which were built 200-400 years ago.

    Return Ha Noi, visit Van Phuc Silk Village on the way.
