    Day 1

    Welcome! Upon arrival you will be received and transfer to your hotel. After the check-in, your afternoon will be available at leisure.

    Pyramids of Teotihuacan and the shrine of Guadalupe
    Day 2

    Discover Teotihuacán, ‘the place where gods were created’.

    Teotihuacan is one of the most impressive archaeological sites of the country. The history of Teotihuacan is quite mysterious. The earliest buildings were constructed around 200 BC. It is assumed that the city may have counted 200,000 inhabitants during its period of prosperity. During this guided excursion you will encounter the magic and mystery of Teotihuacan.

    Admire the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. Walk down the Avenue of the Dead, visit the Temple of Quetzalcoatl with its unique stone sculptures of plumed serpents, the Temple of the Butterflies, and the Fortresses.

    Before arriving back at your hotel, we make a stop at the Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe, a pilgrimage place for millions of Mexicans and people from all around the world.

    Mexico city tour and anthropology museum
    Day 3

    Get to know one of the world's biggest and most exciting cities! This guided tour will take you to the historical centre of Mexico City, listed by UNESCO as World Heritage. Your visit will include the “The Zocalo”, the heart of the city, where you will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, one of the oldest and largest of the Americas, and the National Palace, where you can admire the famous murals of Diego Rivera.

    You will also see the ruins of the Templo Mayor, one of the most important temples of the Aztecs in their ancient capital city of Tenochtitlan. Afterwards, we'll reach the stunning Paseo de la Reforma Avenue up to Chapultepec Park. This latter is one of the largest parks in the world, but years ago, it hosted the summer residences for the noble class of the Aztecs. Then, we will visit the Museum of Anthropology considered to be among the world’s finest of its kind. Here you will admire the famous Aztec calendar stone, models of Tenochtitlán, a fascinating market place diorama, giant stone Olmec heads from the jungles of Tabasco and Veracruz, among many other interesting treasures.

    Mexico City - San Miguel de Allende
    Day 4

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure to Queretaro, located 211 km from Mexico City and capital of the same name state; sightseeing of the old city which was very important during the Independence struggle. After a tour around this historical city, listed in Unesco Wolrd Heritage Site, the travel continues to San Miguel de Allende. Before arriving, stop at the famous "Parish of San Miguel", an important church characterized by pink, sugar-candy pointing towers.

    Upon arrival in San Miguel de Allende, enjoy the extraordinary historical center of this lively con gaudy colonial town.

    San Miguel de Allende - Guanajuato
    Day 5

    In the morning departure for Guanajuato. En route stop in the small city of Dolores Hidalgo, where Miguel Hidalgo delivered his "Grito de Dolores" (Cry for Indipendence). This cry symbolizes the start of the Mexican independence movement. Upon arrival in Guanajuato, you'll be surprised by the beauty of this town, characterized by winding lanes, plazuelas shaded by Indian laurels, many decorative styles, the Mummy Museum, and the nice underground avenue. Guanajuato is rich in colonial evidences, and is a real treasure of Mexico.

    Today you'll visit on foot: the Hidalgo market, Juarez Theater, the University, the “Alley of the Kiss” and the monument of El Pipila, a hero of the Independence.

    Zacatecas -Guadalajara
    Day 7

    Departure to Tlaquepaque, a picturesque town of cobblestone streets, portals, galleries, hand crafts of various quality and style. Free time to enjoy this lovely town. The heart of the city is El Parian, a place suitable for relax.

    In the afternoon, the tour continues to Guadalajara. This latter is Mexico's largest city and home of many Mexican traditions worldwide famous.

    Guadalajara - Patzcuaro - Morelia
    Day 9

    Departure to the State of Michoacan. Stop at Patzcuaro, a “magic town” of Mexico famous thanks to its colonial evidences and buildings. Worth visiting in Patzcuaro are: Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health, Temple and College of the Jesuits, the Tabernacle, the House of Eleven Patios, Madrigal de las Altas Torres boulevard and the typical squares of Vasco de Quiroga and Gertrudis Bocanegra. We suggest you stroll among the popular sights and the variety of hand-crafts.

    Then, the tour proceeds to Morelia, rich in picturesque cafes and restaurant offering typical dishes from the region.

    Visiting Morelia - Mexico City
    Day 10

    Sightseeing tour of Morelia, Cultural Heritage: Plaza de Armas, Government Palace, Garden and Conservatory of the Roses, Clavijero Palace, Mercado de Dulces, Aqueduct, Fountain of Tarascas, Romance Alley, Calzada. In the afternoon we will make your way back to Mexico City.
