Come and discover magical Bhutan, in Asia, almost an enchanted kingdom, with this tailor-made tour and luxury holiday in a country that meets the present one step at a time, managing to preserve its great cultural and natural heritage. Hidden in the foothills of the Himalayas, Bhutan is a land of impenetrable monasteries, virgin forests, where many species of wild animals find their natural habitats, and where the population lives according to the Buddhist culture and tradition.

This trip and vacation offers a rare glimmer of cultural diversity and at the same the rich heritage of this land. Here are the highlights of the tour:

  • Paro, the main access to the country, and Bumthang, in whose valley some of the most important festivals of the Buddhist tradition are held: 7 to 9 November Jakar Tshechu is celebrated, while between 14 and 17 November you can attend two festivals, the Jambay Lakhang Drup and Prakar Tshechu.
  • Accommodation in luxury hotels such as the stunning Como Uma in Paro and fascinating Aman in Bumthang: two resorts that will make you appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of this trip even more.

The best times to visit Bhutan are spring (March to May), with the beautiful blooms of rhododendrons, and autumn (late September to late November), with the changing colors of nature. Winter is cold but days are clear, it is the best time for bird-watching; in the summer it rains, from June to August there is the monsoon season and the fields are bright green.

A trip to Bhutan requires a good adaptability for some long transfers on roads that are not always in good conditions and for some excursions that require trekking to reach the remotest monasteries-dzong. Local guides speak English. You can enter Bhutan from India, from Bangkok and Singapore, with flights operated by Druk Air.
